I was very pleased to get such a huge chunk of resource for the batch of quests for the arathi area. It allowed me to buy up the remaining out post stuff and to do their missions and still have like 1500 resources so I can do missions for a week without having to go out and scavenge every night.

Unfortunately thats pretty much standard early expansion shit ass stat allocations. They know damn well a lot of the stats you are getting are sub optimal and that basically is intentional so as you get better gear during the expansion it gets better and more ideal stat allocations.

My favorite was the tank trinket that dropped off one of the later bosses. It's main stat and then an absorb shield for 20k with a 2 minute cool down. Pretty terrible. I'm using it because the ilvl/agi

Honestly, those AP/faction levels look ridiculous. I can't imagine they are correct for live, but I am on Alliance so I don't believe I have these quests available to me yet. I don't really understand the warfront thing. It seems it will change hands every few days based on resources collected, but this says 3 days, so maybe it is just every 3 days. The write-up on wowhead seems to imply that you can speed up the process by collecting resources, but I doubt that is really true, or if it is, that is actually makes it happen much faster.
What would make the most sense to me would be that Horde have control for 3.5 days, Alliance have control for 3.5 days, and it flips every reset, making all the quests weekly. It seems very much like the Broken Shore stuff, only without anything actually interesting coming from it. Maybe someone who understands it better can explain.

Of course they're going to make you farm it over time. If you got everything on first drop, it would be empty next week.
