Apparently, you can tag the elites only once per warfront. I hope you can tag them again while it's Horde, but I'm not holding my breath...

HandyNotes already has an Arathi module, will show where they are at and if you havent killed them on that character.

Does it reset every warfront? I didn't know Handy Notes was that good if it does. Will download it anyway as I already use it for rares and chest and such.

I had only tagged ~7 of the rares on Tuesday and went back yesterday to do grit-laps around the zone to ferret all the others out. In the few I hit up Tuesday I had gotten 3 pieces of armor which was likely just RNG. I did eventually end up with another piece of armor and a cute pet yesterday but those only came off the last two rares I hit. One of which was from one of the 'summoned' rares so perhaps they have a greater drop %?
Horde gathering speed was only at 35% when I logged last night after my first ever Mythic+ experience (which was a hoot in its own right)

I suspect the "gathering speed" will be adjusted for contribution, so that major effort might reduce the wait time to open the warfront scenario from 4 to 3 days, or some such.

I'm also a bit fuzzy on what it means for a faction to be in control. What benefits do you get for controlling the zone versus gathering materials to kick off the warfront? I ask because I was surprised to find Horde beating up on the rares when I was cruising around last night.

Also, I'm fairly certain that this game is at best in a late-Beta state. Got warfronts quest to kill alliance boss (for 370 loot crate) on two characters, can't get it on the other. Put in ticket, blizzard says it's fixed and the quest should pop... of course it never does. Shades of WOD all over this xpac, except we don't even have a garrison to fuck around in. The thing with the 2H mace from Uldir is hilarious as well - people were getting it 355/370, scrapping their old 2h weapon, then blizz hotfixes it to ilvl 125 because it was intended to be transmog only. ROFL

Poor warrior in our guild got the 370 weapon. 5 or 6 pulls into Zul, someone in our guild inspects him and is like, why are you using an ilvl 180 weapon? He's like what? WTF. It was 370 yesterday. Switches out his weapons, goes from last to first in DPS. lmao. That was pretty fucked up by Blizz.

when you control the warfront you get a series of quests in your home town for arathi. They have pretty decent rewards and massive amounts of orderhall resources. It also gives you access to a world boss specific to the arathi zone that only the faction in control can go after.

Not just war resources one of my quests was a loot crate for the new arathi 7th legion gear which was a pretty big upgrade for me. But it is a pretty huge loot pinata of war resources if you bang through all those quests.
