The gaming industry is a fail-upwards industry. There's so many variables at play that it's almost impossible to pinpoint an individual as the sole reason for shitty product, and studios are desperate for productive workers with experience even if their work is average at best.
I'd argue that complaining about there being too many people in an area in an MMO means you should be looking to play other genres, and into buying a better PC as well.
You need to invest in an SSD. They are pretty cheap now.
Like fucking why. 90% of the reason I play the game still is to do the old raids for xmogs and mounts and stuff. This actively pisses me off more than anything else. I have pretty much every port item in the game but honestly what the fuck? What is the actual point?
Portals being removed:
Dalaran (Legion)
Shrine of the Seven Stars/Two Moons
- Ironforge/Thunder Bluff
- Darnassus/Undercity
- Caverns of Time
- Dalaran Crater
- Karazhan
- The Exodar/Silvermoon City
- Shattrath
- Wyrmrest Temple
- Vale of the Eternal Blossoms
Dalaran (Northrend)
- Shattrath
- Dalaran (Northrend)
Stormwind/Orgrimmar
- Caverns of Time
- Hellfire Peninsula
I don't get the removal of Caverns of Time and Karazhan. Granted, you can get there by other means, but the convenience is completely gone. If they put a flight master there, I'd be okay with it somewhat because I could afk-fly there, but no dice.
I went on the PTR earlier and this is what's up.
The portal room in Orgrimmar has:
Silvermoon
Shattrath (BC)
Warspear/Ashran (WoD)
Azsuna (ports you to the ghost elf spot, not Legion-Dalaran for some reason. Maybe because you have the hearthstone?)
Zuldazar (BfA)
Honeydew Village (MoP)
The Cataclysm portals are still there - Uldum, Vashj'ir, Deepholm, Hyjal, and Twilight Highlands.
All the portals in Orgrimmar underground are gone, including Blasted Lands.
I'm not sure why they made some of these changes, but one thing that bothers me is the portal room itself: there's no space for new portals. They customized it for some current stuff, but there's no design as if to include future ones for newer expansions. Are they going to redo the whole damn thing over and over each time?
I understand that changes can throw people off a bit at first, but I also think they help keep the world of Azeroth feeling alive. When there are fewer portals, does the world feel a bit bigger to you? Do you like that? How difficult is it to get to the locations you mentioned without a direct portal (talking to everybody who isn’t a mage here  ) ?
time to MOVE BACK TO HYJAL
maybe
I almost completely play this game for the auction house at this point and hyjal still kinda sucks but it's hard to tell cause every server sucks atm
They found out people are doing old content and not BFA, so they are making it hard to actually have some fun with the game.
Uhhh wait.... really? What the fuck?
EDIT: Yep. Look at the blue response too

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if they have some embarrassing metric that shows a large number of people are running old shit and ignoring BfA content.
They can fuck right off with their cutesy "doesn't it make the world feel alive and bigger?" teehee *wink*
