Cinematic was baaaad ass. Gave me that weird, uncomfortable giddiness at the end - did not expect at all. Was totally ready for her to take the mantle.

She's been killed like, three times, and is terrified of going back to the blackness. All she really wants is true death after everything she's been through.

The preview video of the new areas is not at all what strikes me as "shadowlands" - just more of the last two zones from Legion, a "druid" area and some regurgitated vampire gargoyle stuff.

Need to watch the details trailer, but hopefully with no new classes, talents, etc, maybe they'll work on game play actually being fun and not completely pointless and annoying, the sole reason I stopped playing BFA. Every class and spec sucked to play compared to Legion, and there just wasn't enough shit to do that wasn't THE SAME THING OVER AND OVER (islands). I digress... Time to watch.

It’s gone in 8.3 and the replacement mechanic is themed to NZoth so it will be gone too. Whether there is a replacement system, unknown.

Nerzhul was bound to the helmet, then captured Arthas. We defeated Arthus, but not the evil it held. Didn't we kill alternate reality Nerzhul in WOD? Memory is fuzzy.

The changes they're making are good overall...but the Expansion is seemingly sparse on marquee features, they're basically just asking us to pay to fix the game they broke. Most of all this shit should have been done for 'free' and not sold as an expansion feature.

It's actually "unfuck everything BfA did, and also fix the shitty parts of Legion as well."

It's sparse on "new" features. Because they finally listened to the players and took the promising systems with shitty implementations, and made them good. WoTLK didn't do anything incredibly new in terms of mechanics. It added DKs, Phasing, Wintergrasp and then tweaked everything else TBC had to offer essentially.

They have a pretty lousy track record lately with their so called "new systems and mechanics". They are mostly rehashed, recycled garbage they try to put a new spin on. So I welcome taking systems we know, putting changes in we've all been asking for, and making a fun to play game.
