As long as they shift everything to Shadowlands, I'm okay with it being boring.
Hopefully this is the smallest content drought we get and 9.0 hits sometime in August/September
That's 8-9 months from now....

I feel like this patch is already off to a boring start. These Assault zones are not very fun. I thought the activities and WQs in Mechagon and especially Nazjatar were pretty fun.
The rares quest is even more annoying than the Mechagon one and for less reward.
Patch 7.3 -> 8.0 = 13 months.That's 8-9 months from now....
So was this what 4.3 was like with reusing a lot of already in game assets?
Patch 7.3 -> 8.0 = 13 months.
Patch 6.2 -> 7.0 = 13 months.
Patch 5.4 -> 6.0 = 13 months.
Patch 4.3 -> 5.0 = 10 months.
Patch 3.3 -> 4.0 = 10 months.
Patch 2.4 -> 3.0 = 7 months.
Patch 1.11 -> 2.0 = 6 months (I'm ignoring 1.12 which had no new content).
We haven't had anything that fast since LK.
7.3.5 was bugfixes and level scaling below 100 (6 months after Argus). The last content patch was 7.3. Same reason I ignored 1.12, I only took the last actual content patch of the expansion.You're missing some patches there. Legion had a 7.3.5, I'm sure a few other expansions had patches after the ones listed, as well.

Given how much feedback from the previous beta was taken into account... do we really need quarter-long betas?I'm sure stuff like complete world level scaling still takes away from time working on the new expansion, though. It's also a little ironic when 8.2 and 8.3 were much later than 7.2 and 7.3 and that's the only major factor for 8.3 to Shadowlands being a shorter time frame. Makes me worry the beta won't have nearly enough time.

I'd like to imagine blizzard recognizes this is their last shot. If they release 2 BFA's in a row, retail is done for. When even the ultra casual playerbase is annoyed at your shit you have problems.
That said, visions are really fun.. for now. When fully decked out and max upgraded cloak I'm sure it'll just be another island expedition difficulty thing but I hope I'm somehow wrong. Skulls can prove to be interesting I'm sure.
The horrific visions are pretty good so far. The rest of the content blows. The minor vision daily doesn't even make sense, and Uldum is a complete horseshit of a zone.Enjoying the horrific visions for now. Once I manage a full clear, it will probably be boring. Up to 2 bosses plus Thrall.

I feel like the daily minor vision doesn't really drop much of anything for currency.The daily vision is all about staying in as long as you can and killing enough stuff for more currency to purchase upgrades at the research thing in the Heart for Horrific runs. Some people aren't running any of their Horrifics until they've done more daily visions this week in order to have as many upgrades as possible for their Horrific runs.

It needs some actual bosses in there or something.
