I havent went out of my way to farm Anima, but I did make The Wild Hunt my hit list faction. Doing that zone non stop has gave me more anima than I can spend at the rate souls are distributed. In what world is the 35 Anima for once daily rando heroic an incentive? In fact most of these quests that given 35 Anima can fuck right off in light of the few that give 750
Ya. I would drop my sub too if something I gather up in 30 minutes spread through the entire week ruined my experience as well.Getting hammered at work so I only hit the covenant halls this week, and seeing 'Fuck you until you've done 1K anima worth of World Quests' three hours into being at level cap made me consider dropping my sub already. Aren't souls already the time gating mechanism, and anima intake limits your missions?
Imagine if instead of Blizzard being retarded they just put 140 from the start. Are those WQ's actually 35 anima? It will show you a 35 anima, but then in the corner of the item's icon it might give you a number. That's how many of those you get. The total is also how much you get towards the weekly.

Just for anyone that might not have noticed. I use the addon WQ List, which puts the total on the map for me (bottom left circle).

Yeah, no clue why they don't do that. Some of the stuff addons do for WoW makes you wonder why something so easy doesn't exist in the first place.
Also probably the catchup mechanic is likely adding more of to the stack you get as well so again lowers the impact of any kind of other amplifier in effect. My guess is that the Anima tokens allow them to circumvent the warmode clusterfuck and lessen the complaints about alliance getting 30% more stuff than a_horde_karen_1943230. Also, someone has a fetish for RNG, so they get to add more RNG to the WQs in how many tokens you get as a reward.
It's not that the amount Anima is excessive, its just that their idea of content, FOR WEEK TWO OF A NEW EXPANSION, is to add a gate to your gate, so you can wait while you wait.
1k over 7 days is a joke. This expansion is so less grindy with respect to player power. Unless you can about sockets, all you have to do is farm 1k anima, do 1 quest in the maw, and two torghast runs a week. That is nothing compared to the bullshit we have dealt with for the past 4 years.
? It is vastly worse.
I had a WQ that I gave up on after 40 minutes and I still wasn't done. All for...35 anima. 35 anima out of 1000 needed to get the first level of flight paths back. You know...flight paths we had at day 1 of WoW that we didn't have to grind for. 1 quest a week in the Maw is one quest too many and Torghast is a bad, boring joke. This xpac was 100% designed to keep the 5% witless spergs busy with grindy, boring content that gives no rewards.
I literally just logged in. Saw an elite WQ giving 250 anima. I walk into the area and joined an open group. That WQ was done in less than 5 min.? It is vastly worse.

Most of the time solo WQ give 2, 3, or 4 count of the 35 anima items. I can't recall any WQ ever giving a single 35 anima item as a reward. And NONE of them have ever taken 40 min. to complete.

The real outrageous part for Anima is that it costs a shit ton to heal your companions. The effort required to get the anima, versus the reward for a table mission is no where near comparable.
The fuck are you talking about? This is one of the least grindy xpacks since daily quests were introduced to the game. Yeah, some of the WQs take longer than before (40 minutes tho... lol) but you don’t have to do any of them. They aren’t tied to player power outside 1k weekly anima. That is only 10 WQs a week if you just do 100+ anima ones. The maw is not required unless you want sockets, and if it takes you 40 minutes to give up on a WQ, sockets arent saving your dumbass.? It is vastly worse.
