Not even close to true, but you don't have to spend very long looking through his front page updates on web.archive.org to know that if Furor had a rape gang it would be called Rapez0r Corp, and not the Cosby Crew.

I suspect that Kotick wants to shut the studio down at this point and just farm the IPs out to whomever. He doesn't give a fuck about the long term situation, he just wants to minimize the immediate damage.

Divesting/Licensing the IPs is a strong option for Activision.

I predicted Activision would divest and things are heading in that direction.

Now would be the time for Kotick to divest, as he's riding a huge cash high and record numbers from Blizzard. These 2021 numbers won't ever be beaten.

For his legacy, if he moves to shutter Blizzard and move to divest and license the IPs, this protects his legacy as a CEO.

It's called going out on top. Blizzard earnings reports for 2022-2025 won't be able to damage his record if he makes the move now. He'll be heralded the hero who took action against the tyrant renegade company among boardrooms everywhere. He'll thump 2020-2021 earnings as proof he was king of the golden goose.

If you think a CEO of Kotick's stature won't move to protect his own market value-- you'd be dead wrong. That's just not how it works. He wants to minimize damage, including damage to his sterling industry reputation and legacy as a CEO.

If for no other reason than the Tony Hawk remake was excellent and completely faithful to the original games but updated in smart, fun ways. I really enjoyed the whole package of the remake there. Blizzard on the other hand (with WC3) did and approached it in the exact opposite way.

lol, yeah, exactly, if the WC3 remake was even half as good as the Tony Hawk remake, Blizzard would not be in the doghouse with their fans nearly as much as they are right now.

Didn't they also do Crash Bandicoot remaster? That was also amazing. It looks like she's been overseeing Diablo 2 Remaster, so I hope she's good and she was responsible for those things.

However I saw a pic that it may bave been her who changed the samwise default icon to her own face in the Warcraft 3 Remaster... so she may have been part of that trainwreck depending on how long she's been there.

Yeah, Crash Bandicoot N'Sane Trilogy was the same studio, they did good work. And she's been at Blizzard since January 21 so she's probably not involved in any of the WC3 Refunded bullshit.

...the option to get the fuck out themselves and be able to work elsewhere, or the option to get fired and be unemployable.

Which means they did fire him in everything but name.
If he's not named in the suit, we should try and get him to post here and spill deets. He's gone from their system which means he's free to talk shit.
