By now you should realize what is happening with Asmongold here: They project all the sins and the bad behavior onto a scapegoat, and cast him out. Only the casting him out didn't work so well, yet. This is literally how the ritual works:
As a pair, one goat was sacrificed (not a scapegoat) and the living "scapegoat" was released into the wilderness, taking with it all sins and impurities. The concept first appears in Leviticus, in which a goat is designated to be cast into the desert to carry away the sins of the community.

They chose the wrong scapegoat because:

1- he doesn't give a fuck, and shouldn't

2- Love him or hate him, he knows what the fuck he's talking about with WoW, and I think most WOW people know this, so their attack on him will not create the rally behind them that they think it will.

This made me an Asmon fan tbh, dude gave them the finger and refuse to apologize, way more than most cucked faggots lately who apologize every time someone say RACIST or whatever the fuck the woke mob wants to throw at them.

That being said, people on this forum still subbed to this dumpster fire of a game should be fucking ashamed of themselves. And I'm not talking about the sexual allegation shit, I'm talking about how shit this game has been for years and you still come lapping this fucking diarrhea like it's some fucking primo chocolate fountain, and they feel you should be honored for getting a throatful of their shit because how dare you know better than them what you should enjoy.

Oddly from his last stream, he does actually give a fuck, but in a way that tells these idiots that they're wrong and to fuck off and that he isn't going to just sit there and take that shit. Prior to him streaming FF14, I'd never watched any of his content or seen any videos or clips with him and I just assumed he was some dumbfuck troll constantly causing shit and trying to make peoples' lives miserable. After watching him? Nowhere near true. His persona is ridiculous but I've been very entertained watching him. Outside of that /spit thing for store mounts I've haven't seem him do anything that I would consider "toxic," routinely calls out the idiots in his community for being stupid, and overall just seems like a pretty reasonable dude, but is also going to speak his mind with no fucks given.

Devs should never have been public figures anyway.

It's the only industry that fucking gives random non CS grunts a platform to interact with customers unchecked and it's fucking dumb.

No shit. As a dev for a public sold tech product (unrelated to games) everyone who is not a Customer Success Manager, Account Executive, Sales, etc is under strict guidance to not talk to paying customers or prospects unless specifically asked.

For some reason game studios like Bliz haven't caught on to that but the Call of Duty team doesn't seem to have these problems.

i think that's because they consider themselves part of the hollywood/big media/entertainment industry (which comic books also fits into). everyone in those industries thinks that their opinions are what people want, so they like to circle jerk at each other all day long.
