So far I'm 0-3 on Horde guilds on Zul'jin. My current guild is lead by ex military that thinks everyone is a fucktard, which is generally true but I'm so fucking tired of him being a nazi in vent. I guess mature guilds are the rarest things in game these days. As bad as I hate to say it unsubbing in a month or two until WoD might be the best things to do maybe then the desire to clear content will out weigh putting up with assholes on the internet. Obligatory comment about a 560 Hunter 14/14 wanting a chill group to play with on eastern times.

I was absolutely amazed at the quality of player that somehow managed to get past Gatekeeper in TSW. That fight was a legit gear, build and competency test. But how much worse would pugs have been without it?

I'd offer you a spot in ours but we're not too active atm so it would probably be boring. We did raid alliance, cleared SoO normals back in January then decided to reroll horde to prep for WoD. I'm sure there are people playing around on weeknights but mostly we play weekends, doing bgs, maybe some arena, leveling alts up, mog runs, perhaps a little raiding. Lots still playing D3 as well. Feel free to add me and hit me up if you want an invite (Proobs#1918) on an alt - the plan is to start raiding again once WoD hits.

Their logic on healer mana regen skills are fucking weird..

Innervate (New) Causes the Druid to regenerate 2.50% of maxmimum mana every 4 sec for 8 sec. This effect is cancelled if the Druid spends mana on a healing spell. Druid - Restoration Spec. 30 yd range. 2 sec cast.

Stance of the Wise Serpent - While in Stance of the Wise Serpent, Crackling Jade Lightning costs no mana and refunds 2% of maximum mana if channeled for its entire duration.

Divine Plea (New) Instantly regain 4.5% of maximum mana. Paladin - Holy Spec. 3 Holy Power. Instant.

Telluric Currents - Your attunement to natural energies causes your Lightning Bolt spell to restore 1.25% of your maximum mana instead of costing mana.

Priest is just smite spam

But uh... basically forcing healers to DPS or not heal at all in terms of getting mana back is pretty dumb

Shaman was already like that for a while IIRC.

When I heal I like to alternate my intense phases to "maintenance intervals", because if it's always one or the other, healing gets boring as fuck and tiresome too.
During WotLK I was playing resto shaman, which was certainly good, but then I swapped to holy paladin and basically never looked back (old beacon, I could heal both tanks by myself). I used Divine Pleas sparingly and when the risk was low, it still took skill, but healing was too intense most of the times because mobs were hitting really hard, nonetheless I don't know what was the reason, but I had a ton of fun healing during that xpack, more than during TBC or god forbid vanilla.
This new system seems very boring to me, hope they'll change it.

I transferred to Zu'Jin recently after my server Blade's Edge just became a ghost town. Tuesday nights @ 8pm with 10 people in Org dead. I did some research and found it was the be all end all "If you're horde and want to raid, this is for you. You'll never want for anything if you're willing to put the work in."

I got to see this on my first night: "LFM Flex 1 must be 575+ with cape and have 25H achievement dated before Jan 1". And my new guild tell me he probably wasn't kidding.

I went from ghost town to the pickiest server on Earth.

They kicked all the people who registered keys from PAX out and said their keys would work when they went into beta. I'd say that's a good indication that they're not past F&F yet.

"Mistwalker (New) Attained one or more realm-best times during the Mists of Pandaria Challenge Mode season. Title Reward: Mistwalker."

God, this new title made me laugh too much thanks to this forum's previous incarnation.

BRAEN, QUICKLY, TO THE CHALLENGE MODES!

If you have time to throw in DPS as a healer its not very interesting period.
Yes shaman had that ability already but it shouldn't be their overall idea on how a healer should be played.. thats backwards. If they want that they should make a healer that plays like a shadow priest then, or bring back WOTLK ret paladins.

Shits dumb.

Sent you a friend request. I can only imagine the rage that guild leader is going to have when he finds out i quit him after a couple weeks. I just have zero tolerance for putting up with people that constantly yell in vent these days. You know you're getting old when I guess.

I never had much tolerance for that. At least it's a guy though I wound up in a guild back in Vanilla after my long time EQ guild had broken up over AQ40 and had a screechy, bitchy chick for a raid leader. This chick would berate people for AFKs, stupid questions, jumping around too much - you name it, that bitch was annoyed by it. At some point when people kind of got over the initial shock of her bullshit, fucking with her became somewhat of a sport and I have to admit it got pretty entertaining for a bit.

So MMOChamp datamined the first t17 set. It's paladin and looks like a higher res version of the original BC Crystal Raiment set. Don't get me wrong, I liked the floaty crystal things, and I know you can only do so much with the "wow factor" riding on the shoulderpads, but I really hope they don't just reenvision all of the t5 sets for t17.

Edit: Eh, looking at them side by side, they're notthatsimilar. My memory was a little foggy I guess.

I can sort of see how you could see the nod to the T5 set in the T17 set. Its not a huge similarity, but a few things are reminiscent. I couldnt work for Blizzards art department, my imagination would have been tapped after just two or three tiers of armor for each class.

That t17 armor set looks generic and boring as fuck.

Everything on that 1-5 looks uninspiring except for sets 1 and 2. After 2 it looks like they were just calling it in.

It's not really the bitching itself that bothers me, it fucks with my rhythm when I'm loldpsing. The mechanics take practice to execute properly and some people take longer than others for it to click in, wipes suck but it's a part of the process. If I ran a guild I would do it privately or after the raid if possible. I guess sub consciously I take it personally, but when I'm on the top of the meter and not the retard always dying then I have to listen to Mr.Number 14 dps get his ass reamed I just disconnect from the whole thing.

I agree about armor sets looking generic, but now that they have transmog to lean on and the fact the game is so old I wouldn't expect anything too impressive to come down the pipe.

Can we just get one thing corrected...its a nod to tier 4, not tier 5. I mean Dandai even has tier 4 in his post next to the tier 5 and completely misses it.

On a side note, why does that graphic not have tier 3?
