ElvUI is also an excellent all-around interface (http://tukui.org), does like a million things with a pretty UI that comes all preconfigured.

Not sure if I want to go the whack-a-mole route... installed ElvUI because it looks clean and is somewhat easy to configure.

They made that fight seem a lot less hectic then it likely is. I have only killed it on normal and it can get a little overwhelming at times. Its a huge step up from being only 5/12 heroic as I am at the moment.

That's probably after hundreds of attempts. I mean you heard how they were barely taking it serious until they got to what I assume is called phase 3 and then they were like "oh shit this might be for real" and cut the chatter.

They've put the vanilla through Wrath bundle ($5), Cat($5), and MoP($10-$20?) up for sale a week or so at a time a few times since October. Depending on how urgent you want to check it out, they might put them all back on sale again soon.

Final form of the Reborn weapons blow.. 502 ilevel, takes 15 lightning ignots (15 days of CDs), 9 Living Steel, 9 Spirits and doesn't even have a proc. I'm not even bothering anymore to do the final version

How is that possible? I went in with 2 people and with only 2 targets for the random insanity gain, we were mind controlled in seconds.

A lot of choose-target spells with special effects won't trigger if there's only one target, but if you introduce a second they go nuts. I'm guessing the sanity zap is like that because you couldn't do anything other than die instantly otherwise soloing...

I'm not familiar enough with the standard way of doing Yogg, but doing it solo, it's not possible to go insane before the first set of portals. After killing the brain and coming out, the only significant insanity loss that I experienced in my attempts was facing him during gaze. Like most old raid encounters, it just ends up being a dps race involving killing him before the immortal guardian dudes overwhelm you.

That makes sense...think the spider boss in Naxx or Prophet Skerim in AQ40: Both normally have abilities that will fuck up players and place them in no-win scenarios, but if you're solo (not even a pet), said abilities don't trigger (cocoon or mind control).

There are ways around some of those. Tanks are generally immune to most of them, so it's a matter of tricking the encounter to make it it think others are tanks. The valks on LK for example won't pick up anyone that has been melee'd by LK within the previous 60 seconds. Threat drops/taunts are needed though.
