(Every?) kill rewards a stone that upgrades the ring 3 ilevels to a max of 795, which takes 20 kills to reach. LFR for archimonde is going to be hilarious with all the high end raiders jumping in since they will not be farming archimonde for 20 straight weeks.

Either way, it is not going to make a difference in the raid if the healer ring is only 735. Upgrade the dps version, it is more important.

I am pretty sure you just need thisCrystallized Fel - Items - WowDB (PTR)to drop to max the ilevel of the ring which drops off archimonde.

Ah I see the item description is sloppy and does not just jump you to max like it sort of reads. That could be annoying for sure but curious if you do it on one if the alt spec ones auto update. I would have to hope they fix it to do that eventually.

Im still trying to work through the logic where flying is removed because they want more immersion in the landscape yet the new quest zone features an item that literally teleports you to rare mobs.

I decided to give the jungle bullshit a fair shake and said fuck it after an hour. At least in vanilla you could mountain climb and jump over most crap.

Not that I looked into it whatsoever.. but I just got theEmpowered Apexis Fragmentas a drop. (the item that lets you upgrade a baleful item to 695) I was under the impression you could only buy it for 20k shards. It doesn't appear on any loot tables on wowhead but it most definitely dropped off of a rare for me today.

I doubt the vendor will sell you a partially upgraded, say to 768, ring if you have one. He'll happily sell you the 735, which you can then upgrade. As well.

They could have implemented it using the same mechanic as the heirloom, which upgrade your "template". But I suspect this particular mechanic is account-wide, which would mean that upgrading your legendary ring would upgrade all your rings on all your characters. Then you'd have to make the upgrade item drop only for your first account-wide kill. But that would work. Somehow. But it's not what Blizzard likes to do.

It does, once you no longer really need the reputation.

I can see the logic behind it. You use lots of treasures to cap your daily quota fast early on, and by the time you really need all 10 rares every day, why, you have one "bonus" every 15mn.

Of course, once I'm at revered cap, I'm not bothering with finishing it every day. I found on my alt druid that it did, in fact, carry over the next day, so you can complete it as you go.

It's probably as rare as an epic world drop.

Fun fact of the day: They plugged the exploit of getting quick level 2 shipyard. The upgrade quest now starts at 0 and does not count any missions done before.

Well they seem to have made some drastic changes to the fleet missions. Lowered the time for the long ones down to ~18 hours and eliminated the "complete immediately" workorders from functioning on the fleet missions. Unfortunately my fleet was all on 2+ day missions at the time of the hotfix and so won't be back in port for awhile.

Actually, the mission completion scroll "not working" is a side effect: any mission that was generated before the hotfix to mission time can't be completed; only new ones. If you try a completion order on an older mission, you may get anything from completing to nothing to adding an additional 8h/1d...

Makes me wonder which intern wrote that code. Because for sure, setting "remaining time to 1s and resetting watchdog timer" can't be THAT hard. But, no it seems they work by doing some calculating stuff, then substracting some time instead. Or maybe they have three values, total time, elapsed time, and remaining time, and they need to joggle with it.

Here in France we call it "Shadok code". The fictional Shadoks were famous for silliness, and one of their motto was "Why do it simply when you can complicate it?"

Did they nerf how loot was distributed outside personal? I thought it was a bit weird that on a 20m kill we got 1 tier piece and 3 normal loots. 20m in BRF was like 3-4 tier pieces and other loot.

Seems odd, i know they want personal used more but atm seems like others who dont get screwed. Could be wrong but just seems weird atm.

Tier loot is back into the loot pool, previously it was extra loot added on top on non tier drops.

Suggestion to our raid lead was that the first week or two, we'd do personal loot because all of the loot would be useful to someone and thus we'd get more, then back to standard ML.

This is what we started with as well but the better equipped individuals in the group bitched too much so we're back to master.

Oh thats pretty weak really - ive looted like 6 things from PL and only 1 was something to equip. Gear progression in BRF was good as it was, was never fond of PL due to getting so much stuff you dont need, but whatever i guess.

Yea. That lasted the first week, and half of the raid looted stuff with PL or bonus rolls, and now they worry about duplicate stuff already. So I guess this week it's ML again.

Well pulling a Fallout 4 and saying at Blizzcon "Our next expansion is The Twisting Nether, the beta is active on the PTR today and it will be released in 3 months!" would be a nifty move for them to make, but I'm not sure they are ready for that sort of agility. The earnings call next month will be very interesting, especially if subs have dropped
