Note that, if you do the apexis dailies, you get more faction per week than an invasion consumes, so you usually end up with 2 or 3 invasions pending after doing your weekly. Even more so if you helped rather than launched. The main point of platinum so far looks like it's dropping the Garrison Raid token. Even assuming you can only loot once each of the six raid bosses, your guild is probably going to have enough for all, unless you insist on alts.

Yup spawning invasions is pretty easy if you just bang out some apexis dailies which honestly don't take that much time to do. Also its pretty trivial watching the group finder thing to find an invasion of the sort you want to attempt to bang it out.

I doubt it will be once each rather than once, period (per week).

Apexis dailies are no longer going to be doable in a raid come 6.1, btw. Can't say I give a single fuck though, I do my 4986 on each character at 100 and never bother with that worthless shit grind again. 6.1 isn't going to change my stance on that one bit.

Where could my hearthstone be? Speak to an innkeeper and I don't get a new one (I have space in bags). It's also not in my bank.

I never did them in a raid I always just did the 800 solo ones as they were fast enough and did not require finding where the zerg blob was roaming in a really annoying terrain that is the pit.

the default UI has a search function. Try going to the bank, opening up everything and then searching.

You can also hearth by going to the help menu, stuck character and it will give you the option to hearth from there. It may even restore your hearthstone, not sure.

Do a search for innkeepers daughter. This is an archelogy based hearth stone that works just like your normal hearth stone so it may be seeing that and not assigning you a new stone when you talk to inn keepers.

I've solo'd invasions for over 1000 a few times. I managed it on Iron Horde and Shadowmoon, but my most recent Botani invasion last week I managed 1395 somehow.

You can really rack up the points if you use a bodyguard like Vivianne for AE, and borrow someone else for patrol. I use Benjamin Gibb, he 2-3 shots Alliance saboteurs, and throws Death&Decay around like crazy.

Also, it can be a good time to do it when your followers aren't out on missions. I had Leorajh wandering around my garrison at the time of that Botani invasion, and so he stuck it out in the center of town spamming bolts. Pets from my menagerie even attacked stuff near the fishing hut, and some of your followers set up a barricade there.

I'd definitely like to see what Platinum is supposed to be.

His ring is actually still an upgrade because it's the first one with useful secondaries. And he has a mount too, so we'll be killing him for the rest of the expansion, yay!
