It was simply from a comment I made where if I was leading a raid, right now at least, I would rather take a 3rd hunter than an elemental shaman since there isn't really "Elemental Shaman" loot that would rot anymore. But the responses about FOTM and class balance certainly make sense. Plus my searing totem still pew pews while i run around not able to do anything else.

Whee, the bullshit involved with going from Pre-WoD 10m/no bench Heroic Raiding roster to Post-WoD 20man+Bench Mythic Raiding roster and bringing a flock of incompetent assholes and semi-competent drama queens into guild has managed to kill the raid guild I've been playing with since the end of TBC.

Hooray Mythics.

Would have been nice if it had killed the team faster, instead of old-timers leaving one by one until it collapsed. Could have moved on or saved some sub fees.

Enhance shaman are in a reasonably good place. They are decent if not top tier single target damage and if you get 3+ targets out almost nobody can catch them damage wise. About the only area they fall behind in is two target cleave fights. So all in all they are good to very good in most of the current raiding fights.

That sucks man. I know how it feels to see a long-lasting community go away. Is there no chance of reforming with similar-minded folk under a new banner?

I rage quit a pug because on Beastlord I was doing something like 35k DPS as a blood tank and in the number 1 spot.

I couldn't even tell if it was just because blood was OP or the group was terrible, but I felt fairly justified that I should not be the #1 DPS.

At least from trying to AoE on my mage I can tell you generally tanks have much stronger AoE abilities than most DPS classes. As frost I could burst AoE now and then (cooldowns) but sustained AoE was shit.

DK blood tanks are doing some silly aoe sustained DPS right now. Not many DPSers have that much sustained aoe at that level. Some like enhance shaman can keep up but most stimply won't be able to and if you are doing a dungeon you likely SHOULD be doing more damage than most of the DPSers if you can get those numbers.

Gearing being equal, Blood DKs should have very strong DPS on that fight. This is our logs from this week's normal run:Warcraft Logs - Combat Analysis for WarcraftYou'll note that while we have several who would beat your DPS, they probably have 20+ ilevels on you.

Pre-Thrash nerf, our bear tank would've been top DPS by several thousand.

Maybe I was extra angry because it was a pug. I just didn't feel right doing 35k sustained and the next highest DPS was like 25k
