Its not hard. Just need a decent group that won't wipe on all the trash and is fast. Last time I did it we had to wait after the final boss for him to spawn

I imagine he's not easy with a run-of-the-mill PUG since there's no reason for anyone to run heroics once they've outgeared them (leaving only alts, mouthbreathers, and soccer moms to queue with).

Care to elaborate why you'd run Defile and Plague Leech over Necrotic and UB/PB? Single target with NP+PB isn't anywhere near dogshit, you can afford to drop the necroblight playstyle while dpsing down the elementalists. I don't get that luxury though, I'm always on interrupt duty because I'm "reliable".

Only fights I'm not really putting up competitive numbers on is Iron Maidens and Blackhand, I pulled 22k on our Blackhand kill and 28k on Maidens. Trying to figure out why it's so god damned horrible (besides being terrible, and melee).
No good reason really, mostly frustration because of doing phase 1 in a way I don't agree with (splitting) and then wiping in phase 2 over and over. If the fight is done correctly, it shouldn't be hard to roll NP for 80-120 seconds at a time using BB just before the mob you're on dies to spread the longest duration NP to everything else around it. And in phase 3 NP is better because the boss doesn't sit still long enough for Defile to run full duration.

With our inflated itemlevels we went back into Mythic highmaul (where we hadn't even attempted progression after killing mythic twin ogron - mainly due to being 3-5 raiders short and having to pug everytime). Finally we can funnel a decent 20-man raid some days, which resulted in Brackenspore down in about an hour and a half and then yesterday we killed Butcher easypeasy after maybe 15 wipes total. Feels really good to be climbing the realm ranks and I can't wait to try tectus and ko'ragh on monday!

My guild somewhat reactivated with WoD, and we even had 10 level 100 players online at one point to try normal Highmaul. Killed Kargath after oh, 10 wipes or so, everyone went to bed -.-

Never had enough people for a raid since that day, don't really fancy bringing randoms, now the past few days I'm mostly alone - again. Spent most of MoP alone already.
So all I do is garrison stuff and AH posting.
Sometimes I fuck around on low level alts but that will probably improve once 6.1 hits. I'll want every class at max level sooner or later.

At least the gold is rolling in though.

Sorry Draegan I was knee-deep in running Auchindoun and didn't see your message until way later and needed to log. If you catch me on again I'll do Leeroy for you.

Can i get a quick and dirty guide on the first few bosses ill face in BRF with a normal group pug, from a tank perspective?
Been mostly pvping since it was released and i figure i should finally give it a run. When i looked at the guides online and the boss tooltips in game, am greeted with waaaay to many ''dont die to this'' in different boss phases.

Is there a simpler version or is brf tanking memorizing a ton of different dance patterns,.... Thanks.

The two minute guides are good if you're just jumping in real quick. Fatboss are good if you want some long-winded explanation filled with a bunch of anecdotal bullshit.

BRF is not like Highmaul where someone can go "Ok, for Butcher stand here and taunt at 2 stacks", there is a lot more going on for every boss.

Gruul - Two dps groups. First tank is on boss, second tank needs to taunt the inferno slice into one group, other tank takes him back. Second tank moves to other DPS group, taunts on inferno slice again, other tank takes it back. Go back to first DPS group, after you taunt him this time you move to main tank position and hold boss, other tank now does the 3 taunt routine as well.

Wrestlers - Tank them together for cleave. Occasionally they'll crippling suplex and smash the two tanks together causing damage equal to the tanks health. Need healer cd's, tank cd's. Main mechanic here is to dodge fire plates and dodge the stamp plates.

Beastlord - Tank him by the empty pen so that you can pick up adds. At 85%/65%/45% he must be brought to the animal he will mount. Typical order is Wolf -> Elephant -> Flying dude. Tank switch at 2-3 stacks of rend flesh, 2-3 stacks of armor debuff, or 10 stacks of fire debuff. He is mostly tank and spank for you guys.

Other bosses are a bit more in depth.

Edit: And no joke I have like 4 pages of notes that I brought with us to our first trip in BRF. I don't reference them anymore, but I came prepared to play hard. Anyone in the RR guild could tell you and it's probably hilarious to most.

Still wondering why 6.1 is 6.1. Usually the .X patches are content patches and the headliners for this patch are Twitter, Blood elf models, and color blindness.

Is anyone near enough to 900 rune stones that extending the legendary quest is significant at this point? That seems to be the only actually content.

Are they hiding something? There were quotes about having lots of open world content in 6.1 when people asked about Tanaan Jungle and yet nothing is mentioned beyond the garrison boss fights. The Garrison Campaign was an under-the-radar addition so maybe there is something similar?

Well they pushed out BRF right before 6.1. I assume the original intention was to wait, but they did that for some reason. Also was going to be an Iron Docks quest campaign that just got announced to be pushed back to 6.2

I don't think anyone is close to 3 Elemental tablets yet. I almost have 1.. some people who killed 10/10 each week might be halfway there?

I have one and then will have about half of another after this week. Theres a few folks in my guild who finished the HM steps a week before me and are 20ish ahead of me. You're looking at roughly 90-100 every week with follower missions and 10/10
