Question on tanking blackhand. During phase 2 do you just pull him sort of in the center and pointed where you want to go up? Is that all tanks really need to do? I got fixated and assume I just kite it until someone else kills it?

For phase 3(didn't make it), the other tank wanted me to take each bomb. Am I right in assuming I would hold the boss until I got the bomb debuff, explode in my area and he would tank and then get smashed? Or is it something that I taunt on quickly to get the bomb debuff?
They fixed most of the bugs with blackhand's knock up in 6.1. You can't bounce off the center partition or get launched to the sides anymore. The only way you can fail to get up there is to either be so close to the balcony that you're almost under it or clear on the other side of the room, under the other balcony. As long as you're good on that the dps only have to be standing in the circle that appears when he's casting it and they will land up there.

For P3, one tank takes it to the corner of the platform, when you get a bomb attached to you, the other tank taunts it so he's facing towards the center of the room and you can run out your bomb and aren't tanking with slagged.

Blackhand is honestly annoying because the best strats have straight RNG failures attached. A boomkin can wipe out the entire balcony in seconds, letting you ignore that whole mechanic, but they can get marked for death up there and that's just instant death and an automatic wipe.

Got another question. Is there an add-on that will manage voice comms? What I mean is I'll join a pug, they'll spam their info for one of the 4 or 5 common programs, I'll keep minimizing and typing what I remember back and forth, keep going back for password, etc. I wonder if there is a better way? Wonder if there could be an add-on people could use that could interact with a desktop app or even with the voice apps to add that info in. I realize this is a pug 1st world problem.

2 monitors or copy and paste haha. Though that would be cool if there was add on that could link your info and if other people had it they could click it and launch the specified app with info filled in.

I'm talking about copying what others write from the chat window. As far as I know, there is no way to do so from the default ui.

Interesting, hard to believe it took them so long to do this.

Be interesting to see what the price starts around. I think in a game like wow it' should go for relatively more gold then a plex goes for isk. imply because you can't buy anything with gold the way you can with ISK in eve.

Well in theory thats one good way of sopping up some of the mass silly quantities of cash floating around these days.

A quick google says you should get around 30k gold for $15. If they really want to put the gold farmers out of business they can't go much higher than that unless they really sell the "secure" part.

With 4 100s basically just doing gold missions I'm getting 10k a week or so. If it is something in the 30-50k range you could almost play for free just off the garrison.

In fact, in the initial flood it'll probably introduce MORE gold to the economy, since the seller is always paid whatever price it quoted them when they put the token on the market, regardless of what the token actually sells for. Blizzard generates gold to cover the difference.

Bob puts token on the market for 10G. 72,000 other dudes put their tokens on the market. Market price dynamically drops due to oversupply, down to 5G. User A buys Token, paying the Blizzard shop 5G, Bob gets 10G from Blizzard.

That is, assuming Supply outstrips demand. If demand outstrips supply, it should remain rather gold-neutral, since the tokens should sell as quickly as they go up.

That doesn't make any sense Kuro. Where did you get the idea that Blizzard is generating extra gold? I really really doubt Blizzard would introduce a gold faucet here; what would be the point?

It's in the FAQ, though generation of new gold does assume that they will overvalue the initial gold price.

For example: You buy a token for $15 and are guaranteed a price of 30k gold when you sell it. Nobody wants to buy the token for 30k gold, so the price drops to 20k gold. However, you still get the 30k gold you were promised, even if the current value is 20k gold.

Q: What happens if the price quoted to me is different from what the Token actually sells for?
A: You will always receive the gold amount quoted to you at the time you place a Token up for sale, regardless of what the current price is when the item actually sells.

The price for buyers dynamically shifts based on the rate tokens are being added to the sale-engine, and the rate they're being purchased, however the seller is guaranteed to make whatever he was quoted when he put his token up for sale, regardless of when it sells or for how much. If you list for 10G, and tons more people list, driving the price down to 5G, you get 10G when it sells despite it only selling for 5G. If you list for 10G in a stale market, and there's suddenly a mass-run on Tokens that spikes their value up to 20G... you still only get 10G when yours sells.
