Harrison Jones is really wearing out his welcome with this same quest every day shit.
Given that they had to disable the follower relic missions, I assume there's something broken with his quests and they can't fix it with a hotfix.

Anybody else use Garrison: Broker? My FPS drops to 1 as soon as I mouse over it and I can't figure out how to fix.

So I take back my complaints about DPS queue times. I only had to do 3 normals to get myself to 610 and start running heroics. Did 2 or 3 heroics yesterday and (unless it was just cause less dps online on monday night) my queues were only 15ish minutes, the longest was 22 and even then it was only because it tried to launch twice but people declined (one a healer and a dps the 2nd time).

I don't have any professions at the moment. Any clear-cut easy choices for a mage? I was thinking inscription so I can upgrade the crystalfire staff I bought from 1 to 4 but i'm not sure how it stacks up compared to heroic weapons or highmaul weapons (haven't gone through a detailed look on all the loot drops).

Heroic weapons are 630/636, so it's above those. I don't know what level that staff goes up to, is it 670 now? Either way, heroic HM weapons are 670/676 and free, so it is my personal belief that if you can get them for free they are better.

getting weapons in pugs can be tough almost everyone needs it most of the time, if you got a guild and can get into their runs i wouldent waste money on anything way better odds being in a guild.

Yea, and mission caches don't have weapons in them (off-hands, yes. Weapons, no).

Note that you can still get a 645/651 weapon easily from follower missions, which is basically your stage 2 improved weapon, so don't bother improving until you have enough Savage Blood for at least stage 3 or even 4 upgrades (30 or 60 bloods).

One weird thing is I have run normal modes and lFR since highmaul first opened and I have not yet had a single weapon drop in any difficulty mode. The only purple weapons I have seen on any of my three 100s are either the ones my minions get for me from missions or hand crafted ones.

How are Paladin and Warrior tanks stacking up these days? I have both around 660, and can't decide which to focus on.
Pal/war are about the same right now. If your healers are halfway good warrior is great for mitigation...but you have 0 self heals. If your healers forget to heal you sometimes (like mine), then I would go with prot paladin. There's minor differences here and there but overall paladin has more cooldowns but feels like they can spike 100-0 more often, whereas warrior is more smooth from 100 to death.

Of course, if you want ultimate FOTM god tier cheese machine, go brewmaster.

Method had a BRM and prot war on their mythic blackhand kill. Paragon had double BRM monk, and Midwinter had Prot pal and BRM monk.

Handynotes with the Draenor map pack. Places Rare Spawn Locations, various treasures, bonus objectives, and all sorts of other 'exploration' crap on your minimap and each individual zone map.

People are all butthurt because Method transferred alt chars to other people for their Blackhand kill so they could stack certain classes (at least an alt druid/hunter/rogue all x-ferred from one player to another I think?) They are crying TOS and shit when it doesn't even apply because it was a paid x-fer. Hell, only method beat him week 1 and only paragon beat him by week 2, that's fucking insane.

Basically Blackhand is the only fight of the expansion where hunters are well represented in the top 200 because it is all out single target damage with insane movement requirements of both melee+ranged so the usual top single target classes (ahem, arcane mage) are gimped. So you want a mix of the best possible single target dps who also have strong cooldown survivals and a strong balcony group, which is how Method wound up with a druid/sub rogue/hunter army. I know I basically laugh at the fight as a hunter, with my combination of dps, unrestricted movement, + deterrence. I hope the rest of my raid catches up soon, but the challenge in heroic Blackhand seems almost entirely dependent on your raid makeup, and it's not like we can just stack whatever the hell we want.

Anyway, learned a lot watching the Method Blackhand vid that just came out. If you are working on it, take a look. The way they handle p3 will be the new standard for sure - fucking fatboss has people running all over the place while Method's strat is 100x simpler. The mythic version doesn't seem to add much, but having to handle standing in demolition while volcano is covering 3/4th of the room, holy shit! Their p1 strat won't be needed outside of mythic but it's still pretty creative and unique and probably makes it stupid easy.

If you've repped the fight on any difficulty this will make you sick with how smooth it looks:Method vs Blackhand Mythic World First - YouTube

but thats what these uberguilds do though... they min max to the fullest i mean they already probably stack fucking druid healers as it is, this is just the next step.

but this isnt anything new or shocking, people have always switched to alts to make an encounter easier, while this a little more drastic isnt a surprise to me.

shit you know how many warlocks my raid had when we got the server first rag kill? probably like fucking 8 just for banish.

I've onlyndone the fight a couple times but can you explain what they do different in p3? Don't know the phase well enough to understand.

I like the midwinter video better, those guys sound like funny dudes
