Is this really the hot shit? Maybe for the 5% playerbase who started WOTLK or later. I had my fair share of wipes in the (back then amazing) BC dungeons and nostalgia apart I have zero enthusiasm to go back. Also up to this day I can not step into the WOTLK dungeons because of the daily "need to farm the 2 marks" runs back then.
I was being sarcastic and failed at it. I don't think I could run again tbc or wotlk dungeons more than once each.

Anyone have an opinion on monks as healers? Kinda want a healer alt (my main is a priest) and I've never played any healer but a priest. Torn between druid, pally, or monk.

My main is prot/ret paladin, and I wanted to try something different so I geared up an ele shm alt. I figured it'd be way easier to get groups as resto shm and just coin trinkets/jewelry for ele. Turns out resto shm is pretty fun. You might try it out.

I may have lost the most recent round of changes, but up to early 6.1 Mistweavers were very good raid healers and quite shitty tank healers. They have little problems with mana and they are pigeonholed into specific talents to do good raid healing (i.e.: Pool of Mists).
They require a mod to monitor their HoT heals (seriously, it's mandatory) so when they have a lot running, they can pad the meters with Uplift spamming. They can melee to heal, which can be fun, but not really viable all the time (but it has its moments).
I loved MW in MoP, they were certainly the most fun healers I ever played (and I played them all for years), don't like them much in WoD, they have been neutered, some skills made totally useless, some removed in the big pruning and the 2 different stances are borderline retarded.

I played Brewmaster this xpack, because MW sucked ass post 6.0. Now BrM will suck too, I'm so glad I already left the game. We'll see what they do for the next xpack in 18 months or so.

In my mythic progression guild (6/10) we were extremely carried by monk aoe healing on fights with extensive raid damage (guess what, all of them) so for phases like stamper and jump arounds on hans & frans, oregorgers rolling etc - having revival and a dude putting renewing mists & spamming uplift on 20 people is so, so good.

For bleeding edge super guilds a la Meth-agon, where people can avoid standing in the fire, they're likely not as useful.

I had never raid healed in any game ever until I rolled my MW. I really enjoy it. I do feel weak as a tank healer, but feel pretty confident about healing the raid. I actually enjoy it so much, that if the minivan group wasn't so well off with healers now, I'd probably play it full time over my Mage.

JC shuffle as we knew it is gone, my jewelcrafter does fuck all so far except upgrade items and the garrison hut daily which nets 200+ gold. Gems sell for loss, or so my addon tells me. So I make upgrade items when I can and they sell ok.
It might still be possible to generate money if you make necks/rings (forgot which) and DE them. Depends on price of ores and dust and it's also a chore. Didn't really try.

Enchanting is nice because your stuff isn't soulbound. All the other tradeskills I have shit out soulbound mats so you have to produce something in order to make money. Enchanting has been my big moneymaker in WoD.

Never been into bags much except MoP 28-slot bag, which had soulbound mats too. I tried frostweave bags for a while but the crafting time was too much for me to suffer through. All that waiting for a profit of 1-2g per bag, nothx. Embersilk bags may be better but even then you can just throw the hypnotic dust on the AH and it will be gobbled up in no time.
I'm sticking to the various upgrade items with tailoring, they sell for profit still.

Inscription made me a nice chunk of money early on in WoD, now glyphs rarely sell. Cards were the shit for a while, but those trinkets have also been surpassed since then, alts aside. Upgrade items sell ok for me.

Engineering makes ok money now, upgrade items sell alright.

Blacksmithing - basically same story, upgrade items sell, everything else gives me less gold per soulbound mat so I don't make them.

Alchemy... well let's not go there.

That's all I have. If I had the nerve to drop tradeskills and relearn, and if it was still early in the expansion, Inscription/Enchanting would be the big $$ I guess.

Salvage yard is always good because the greys give some gold and you get the odd valuable transmog item or (rarely... very rarely) epic BoE (I got 3 so far on 4 max garrison chars). Even if you vendor the greens it's some nice money. Haven't tried 2x tradeskill that the character has plus enchanting hut, that might work out too.

Trading post: get it. seriously. sooner or later you'll be resource capped and then you can buy dusts for 4 resource each, wait for dust trader day, and sell stacks of 200 in the AH quite reliably. Might also work for other mats like fur and leather, didn't really check.
Remember that you absolutely need to have a level 3 barn when 6.2 launches. The top-level crafted gear is ilvl 715, but heroic HC gear is only 710, which means mythic progression raiders will pay any price for felblood. If your server has a top25 guild on it you can probably turn felbloods over for 100k each.

Basically they are a step up from savage bloods. I assume they will be gained in the same fashion given their description of you will have to find the right kind of critters in tannan jungle and trap them to stock your barn for the "milking" process. Given it looks like there will be two levels of boost and stock piled savage bloods are not going to be used for them thats going to mean a really active market by high end raiders that will gobble up all the felblood they can get their hands on early so make a barn get it to level 3 and prepare for some absurd levels of space cow capturing.

On that note, I think I'm gonna save 4 barn rush orders so i can flush all the mighty cages when 6.2 goes live. I'm pretty sure its first in first out but I've gotten some weird times where I'll get a feast when I know for sure they were behind fur in the queue.

edit: At least 4 I should say. As long as you save enough gr to open the shipyard and Tannan it feels like gr -> barn rush orders will be the most profitable, at least early in the patch.

Yes my excess GR are going to be used to stockpile barn rush orders as things progress towards 6.2 the blood for the max level stuff is going to be super hot for at least a few weeks so may as well ride that felpony as hard as you can until the market gets glutted.

So start buying out Felblood on the AH, knowing it's gonna skyrocket come 6.2? and start farming it out of your level 3 Barn's?

Found this Garrison follower guide, and wanted to share. It details out the traits and counters you need for basically a perfect team that can 100% all missions, including a scavenger team and then the treasure hunters. Pretty sweet goals to work for!
Master Plan's "Interesting Missions" tab is extremely helpful: take any follower that's listed as redundant, and reroll or replace.

Felblood isn't in yet. No way to stockpile it.
Exactly which is why about the best you can do to get a jump is make sure you have a level 3 barn and a bunch of barn rush orders. Also prior to the patch coming out you would want to let your barn clear itself out so that as soon as patch goes live and you trap some of whatever animal is required for felblood you can focus on getting just that asap.

How fucking camped are those gonna be by raiders and other assholes planning the same thing.
