I think their intentions were good; they tried to bring back the excitement of getting new loot and equipping it on the spot. They didn't quite hit their mark though, unfortunately. No, that's the line of bullshit they fed us. The real reason was because you could get around shitty itemization and hit thresholds faster to beat bosses. It made all gear a possible upgrade and the ability to have less waste. Reforging was an extremly powerful tool for non mouth breathers.-
I think it strange they they do not want players to feel as though they need to log in. The truth is, they do not want players who have the time to level up 10 characters to get so far ahead of those that do not, that the ones who are part timers just move on. They make the most money off the players who play a couple of hours a week.It was nice while it lasted!
20 Months worth of WoW Tokens bought with just Garrison gold.
I cannot say I am to surprised I don't think they imagined people would just grind garrison stuff to make 2-3k gold a day in 5 minutes running alts.It was nice while it lasted!

Buying WoW tokens with garrison gold is more satisfying than the boring as shit raid instance we have right now. Blackrock is one of my least favorite zones they've done.I cannot say I am to surprised I don't think they imagined people would just grind garrison stuff to make 2-3k gold a day in 5 minutes running alts.
Could be worse. It could be Highmaul.Buying WoW tokens with garrison gold is more satisfying than the boring as shit raid instance we have right now. Blackrock is one of my least favorite zones they've done.
Agreed.Raid encounters, for me, should be no longer than 2-3 minutes tops. Anything else is just too long and dull. I learned my lesson when I raided in in Rift all those years ago. I'm not sure why they don't build raid dungeons like Diablo. Run around, killing mini bosses and have an end game boss fight for a few minutes. Rinse and repeat. Maybe one encounter every once in a while that is longer.
They have said no. That doesn't mean they wont change things a few months in, but at the start, no.Anybody know whether or not a player will be able to trade Primal spirits in for the new Blood? I would not imagine it too be cheap but I could see a 200/1 ratio.
Yea, the problem with being able to trade Primal for Felblight would be that some, like me, would instantly have enough to upgrade our 3 crafted items to max. Since they announced to reduced costs, I've been stockpiling primals, and I have between 900 and 2400 per alt (9 alt total). They have said no. Yup no point of them switching to a totally new currency for the upgrades and then letting people blow huge stock piles of things like primal spirits to buy them would totally defeat the purpose.Yea, the problem with being able to trade Primal for Felblight would be that some, like me, would instantly have enough to upgrade our 3 crafted items to max. Yah, same reason they made them not available from barns. Soo many wasted rush work orders.Yea, the problem with being able to trade Primal for Felblight would be that some, like me, would instantly have enough to upgrade our 3 crafted items to max.
