I ended up switching to Warlock full time to help the raid team out about a month ago and have been loving every minute of it. Kind of bums me out to read the dev comments about demo though. They don't want a top DPS spec to be that difficult to play? That's lame because I love the resource management aspect of the spec and my assumption is that's what they're referring to.

Sounds like heavy aff in 6.2. I like that spec too though so no big deal.

Demo should still be useful for cleave. The problem with demo is that its rotations are not self evident. Managing the resources being difficult is fine, but without running simulations and/or reading posts about the spec, it is hard to stumble upon how to correctly use all the abilities.

Super nerd moment.

Thrall and Garrosh engage in Mak'gora. 'Duel of Honor' or Orc ritual combat. Each person is allowed one weapon. No armor. And there must be witnesses. Magic counts as a weapon. Thrall uses Doomhammer, wears armor, and then falls back on Magic when he is losing. Far be it for Blizzard to stick to their own lore, though.

No one ever said magic counts as a weapon. In their previous Mak'gora (WotLK launch event) both Thrall and Garrosh had plenty of armor, and Thrall seemed free to cast whatever he wanted.

They did drop the ball with Thrall's dialogue, imo. Here was Thrall's chance to own up to his poor choice for Warchief and say something like "Yes, Garrosh, I made you what you are. And now I am unmaking you." But instead he plays along with the horrible writing by Blizzard and insists there was no way anyone could possibly have seen any of this coming.

I never actually saw or knew this event happened until just now. So Thrall made Garrosh warchief AFTER this? Wow, wtf. Thanks, Metzen.

Everything since the Draenei has been a complete downhill plummet. We're basically at toilet stages right now.

All the more reason I call Thrall a giant puss, cheated in a melee match and always wants peace. But seriously, this is supposed to be warcraft not lets make friends with the Alliance every expansion so we can destroy the great big bad.

Can't wait for Good Garrosh to be born in 2 expansions when Grom is leading the main storyline's horde.

Yea, seeing him missing from Hellfire Citadel lineup had people hoping for a small 6.3 raid "take down the last holdovers". Seem there's no 6.3

If Blizzard wants to copy stuff from other MMOs for the next expansion, they should snag Archeage's naval combat stuff as a priority.

South Seas has been a rumor for a while, Emerald Dream has been a rumor since Vanilla.. I want both. Plus in the Emerald Dream there's so much potential to just do whatever the shit they want. Although I guess it would ruin the idea of it, since it's supposed to be Azeroth as if Azeroth was never populated by intelligent races/us.

Also, Grandiose items come from Garrison missions that you're sending your followers off on. Not sure how often those missions appear though, as I haven't gotten one in over 2 weeks and I've been logging in every day to check.

So can someone explain to me the Grandiose items and how to get the quests to get them?
Grandiose items are randomly given Missions in your Garrison.

Do not worry about them if you are level 100. On Tuesday, the intro to unlock Tanaan quest line gives you four 650 item tokens (Baleful Treads, Baleful Tunic, Baleful Gauntlets, Baleful Girdle) and at the end, a different token that will upgrade a 650 Baleful token to 695.

The 650 base item tokens drop randomly throughout Tanaan from rares and can be found from some treasures. You can alsobuythem for Apexis. 5k for a 650 Armor/Trinket/Ring/Neck Token. 10k for a 650 Weapon Token. You can then buy theUpgradeitem for 20,000 Apexis each. It will upgrade a TOKEN to 695.

Sort of like the Burdens of Eternity and the Timeless Isle tokens. Do not use a token if you intend to upgrade it. You must upgrade it first.
