How's the single player content for someone who hasn't played since before blackrock foundry or whatever was released? A month before I get bored if I'm not an alt person?
I play solo almost constantly and it feels the same now playing solo than it did when the game launched. There's some amusing quests and I like seeing chunks of lore here and there scattered throughout Draenor, but they didn't make any efforts towards lone wolfs having much to do aside from Garrisons.

If you don't want to use the LFG tool to play with people, you're going to run out of things to do pretty quick. You can grind reps, I guess. You can grind out apexis shards and get some new toys/mounts/gear/shit. You can gear up your character exclusively with vendor items that cost Apexis. Might take you a while, but you can do it completely playing by yourself with no group.

People who complain about the lack of content when they purposely decide to only play 10% of the content... only here, folks.

Personally, I've so much to do in Tanaan Jungle that I could spend all day there, but I have 6 other character that need to do their old raids mount runs, and garrison missions, so I can't. My daily routine in Tanaan is something like this :

Order of the Awakened daily (takes about 15 mins)
Hand of the Prophet dailies (3 quests - takes about 30 mins)
Saberstalkers farming (I only farm about 150 claws a day because I don't want to go insane, too much other stuff to do for now, may increase that once I finish the other two reps - takes about 45 mins)
Kill each of the 4 Champions once (Vengeance, Terrorfist, Doomroller and Deathtalon, cause they drop rep token and mounts, can take hours because they are rare spawns)
Defeat 14 legendary pets (takes about 45 mins)

So of course, if you all you ever do is raid, then I can see why you'd think there isn't much "meat on this bone"... but don't fool yourself and think that there is nothing else to do. There is just nothing else YOU want to do, and maybe that means you should play something else.

I couldnt say for sure bc i honestly dont pay attention to stuff like that - Comparing it also irrelevant bc i didnt compare it to another content patch - Just because it may have more meat on the bone than another bone with less meat doesnt make it meaty either. If i can log in and be done with whatever is required in less than 30mins it doesnt really add any new incentives. In fact if i didnt have to log in to send out ships and do the dailies to work towards ring or making ring easier to obtain i would just go back to logging in only for raids and it would be as is nothing at all changed besides the class tweaks in my eyes.

At any rate as i said to those enjoying it then kudos to you but to me its more of the same with even lamer methods to keep you logging in by gating even more things.

23 more naval wins to go!
So you said there's not a lot of content this patch... then said the amount of content in this patch is irrelevant because you don't pay attention to "stuff like that." Just want to make sure I'm following your logic.

(I'll give you a hint, there hasn't been another non-expansion patch in the history of the game as big as this one.)

When you say "big" do you just mean enabling a continent that shipped with release? b.c "content" speaking its not really much of anything. Youre endlessly rinsing and repeating the same thing over and over again that we've been doing the entire xpac already, its just happening on a new,...sorta...enabled continent. At any rate its pointless, if youre content so be it, but im pretty sure i said it was my opinion anyways.

Mage tower to level 2 for shipyard is nice, the auto complete for 2 day missions is great.
And the gnome engineer building is nice now too people were using the toys from it to good effect on whale shark last night.

Sabertooth took 5 hours in a fast pulling group. All nameds took me about 15 hours because of respawn timers. 51 treasures is gated behind faction progress got 49/51 so far. So despite mythic raiding this patch was solid 5 days content for me plus remaining 21 faction dailies and the shipyard stuff.

Edit: from zero to exalted netted 1500 claws, so the 5k mount takes 15 hours. Also I got 65k Apex during this week from the attacks and quests. Started with 60k so I will get the mount next week.

Also small help: the "kill 20 demons" daily is easily done at the Throne of Kil'Jaeden. The imp packs count as demon. Don't be that guy standing at the temple of Sha'naar waiting for the "doable" 300k demons to spawn.

And I thought they "fixed" Ashran? Queue longer than before it seems. Gave up after 2 hours

You're making a joke, right? Like a funny joke where you say something stupid that doesn't make sense kinda joke? Right?

Yes, Tanaan Jungle 'shipped' with the release of Warlords of Draenor, just like the Maelstrom and Gilneas shipped with the Vanilla release because they were technically drawn on the map. Hell, there were a couple sections of the Emerald Dream hidden away in vanilla; are you gonna complain that's rehashed content too if they ever make an Emerald Dream expansion?

There's a large difference between being drawn on the map and having a rather large chunk of the zone playable right at the release of the expansion for an intro quest and then closing it off until 6.2.

Except it was more than drawn, a decent portion could be explored if you decided to exploit your way past the invisible walls. Also i could be wrong but im pretty sure 6.2 came with a new raid and the newly enabled tanaan but did it come with new dungeons im not aware of or just a new gimmick to get you to rerun things that have been in the game for years?

Log in and either see...People in Garrison, people in tanaan doing dailies OR grinding rep, people in warspear and now introducing people in razorfen downs or whatever else that was old and now new! Friendlist had a spike for the first day and now its more or less back to how it was prior to 6.2

Some people are happy with any bone thrown, and some are not. Only time will tell if 6.2 made things better or worse.

At the very least HFC is a step up over BRF thus far.

It's the attitude that if you like the current content, then you are just not a real gamer like I am. That attitude is elitist and its insulting as someone who has owned every system released in America (except for the jaguar and handhelds). You enjoy wow for whatever it brings to your table, and I'll enjoy it for whatever it brings to mine. Don't say things like, oh if you like to eat crap all day then wow is great because that's all it is!

It's childish.

Ive owned everything as well, and i said nothing bad about if you like the content then something is wrong with you, dont confuse it. I said if you like it so be it, some are easier to please than others, if thats hard to grasp then its not my fault. If you disagree that some are easier to please than others than i am truly baffled. You can never please everyone and that goes far beyond just gaming and basically to me this content is just meh.

Whats childish is how people are butthurt b/c i dont feel the content is up to par and i dont agree that its just so massive and full of things to do.

As all I do is Raid and do the things necessary to support raiding, WoW content now is the same to me as it has been since WOTLK ended and I stopped needing to farm valor to support my raid tokens. Raid fights in Heroic (Pre-WoD)/Mythic have, on average, gotten better with each expansion since then (although the stand-out content in previous tiers still... stands out). So, beyond stupid logistical shit like changing raid sizes leading to drama/implosions, I've honestly enjoyed the game more as time progressed, while still barely logging in outside of raid the whole while. As long as the leveling content is amusing, and the farming required to supply raid reagents isn't too silly, I'm pretty much happy. When I want to do something other than raiding, I just play one of the pile of games I have available that does that aspect of gameplay better than WoW ever did.

Nod, its more or less the same here, but it seems you need to do random crap and required daily farming and naval missions to get the ring no? Its honestly like whatever, wow is more or less free for those with gold so it will be there anytime. I played more back in vanilla when you had to farm regs non stop to raid end game and now i just pop on for a hour a day when its not a raid day and that hasnt changed much in a bit. In the end WoW is still better than any other mmo to me. So until EQN(if its not vapor) i will just be chugging along.
