Have they said how they're handling LFR in Legion? It seems all their tier sets have a lot of color variations, could they be going back to the pre-wod style LFR where it's the same gear just lower ilvl?

I am absolutely hating my shadow priest and how squishy he is, same for mage. Stalled big time at 95 with the mage. I am sure if I was better at DPS on either class it wouldn't matter as much.

DK/Hunter/Paladin/Priest/Paladin/Warlock/Rogue/Druid are at 100. Mage at 95 and warrior at 90. Going to sit the mage and switch to warrior. I will do the XP pots + bonus objectives "cheese" for the mage to finish up those last 5 levels.
I have only the shaman left to bring to 100, but was going to get crafted weapons to play enhancement first, so I left him there for a while.

Priest is squishy because they removed inner fire and innate damage reduction from shadowform, but once you get to 100 and get a few 650 pieces, stuff melts just fine, but I agree that it's a cripple since the end of MoP. Mage was honestly a breeze, I soloed and aside from Gorgrond elites that required all my cooldowns (which was quite fun by itself), nothing else could touch me. Frost has better control and burst than Arcane, you should spec out of frost nova into ice nova and use pet nova to root enemies if needed (toggle water jet off, shared cooldown) and Comet Storm at 100 is a load of fun. The ridicolous burst you can put out with the mage is jaw dropping.

I read you didn't play the monk, but if you choose to do so, pick Brewmaster for levelling. It's faster, nigh unkillable and has zero downtime, you can queue for dungeons instantly and you can solo anything the game throws at you, up to and including MoP raids (not 25 heroic, unless you have very good gear, some encounters have horrible mechanics).

Since I didn't know and it sounds like there may be some others coming back/leveling up. After you complete the raids you can get satchels (even as DPS!) that drop baleful tokens that are account bound+ the upgrade token (695ilvl) for rerunning the raid as a "needed class". Think there's 5-700 gold in each one also. Just flip through the raids till you see a satchel available. Its basically helping me gear up all my outdated level 100's and get my main into better gear.

Tier 2 barracks + tank bodyguard = not squishy. (a bit squishier if horde, that warlock tank isn't as good as the alliance paladin).
Yup I just upgraded to T2 barracks this morning so that next time I play the mage it won't be an issue. Didn't really become an issue for me until about 95 and it isn't the worst it's just a little annoying.

If you have flying unlocked just go around picking up treasures. If those are mostly untouched that will get you from 95 to 100 easy.

Yeah I do and I might, good call. The warrior I will do legit. The DK was a breeze of course and so was the druid, I leveled them as bear and blood.

Didn't they say they were getting rid of set bonuses?

Probably - making an entirely new set with different effects because 'we don't want raiders to want to do lfr' is pants on head retarded, as seen by the complete 180 on valor.

Fuck Tanaris and it's lack of sandstorms.
Swap servers to catch that bug. I had a character camped there that I would from time to time swap to and then custom LFG hopping. Got the beastie in about 3 days (of course, I think I just logged in the middle of a sandstorm, and there were half a dozen around waiting for me).

My last Kalimdor catch in one week (the winter-only Snow Owl)!

Yeah, I've been server hopping for a few days now... Also I missed the fucking guardling, so I have to wait until next SUMMER to get it. Bullshit!

I need to figure out which pets I can sell because I don't care about any of them but have obtained a decent amount.
No pet 'caught' in battle can be caged/sold.

Blizzard store pets (other than the Guardian Cub, which is no longer sold) cannot be caged/sold.

TCG pets are good money, if you have them floating around - Not as much as they were before before 5.4 (there was a bug/hack/dupe - Whatever you want to call it - that flooded the market with them).

The pets from Charms or bags depend on your server.

Otherwise, the only 'money' pets are Darkmoon Rabbits (S/S breed being the big money), Hatespark the Tiny (from the 10th Anniversary event), and S/S Gilnean Ravens (For a while, you could get any breed of them. It was 'nerfed' and all new Gilnean Ravens are some shitty breed).

EDIT: Forgot about CE pets. If you have not applied them to your account, the older ones can be worth big money. If you have, then you are stuck. They cannot be sold/traded. You USED to be able to sell a character who had them, move it to another account, and then that person would get them. But Blizzard started banning people for doing this and fixed it.

Some of the pets from legacy raids sell pretty well too if you can be bothered to farm them. Anubisath Idol and Chromaggus are both good sells because they're useful for a ton of pet battles. Some of the pets that are gated behind mechanics (Viscidus, Vashj, last Kara boss (have to beat Chess:emoji_nose: can sell well because people can't/won't farm them.

Really? I wouldn't have thought you could actually sell those things. I'll have to check that out. I save raid lockouts on my buddy's characters so I could beat Chess and save the lockout for easy Kara farming.

Prices can vary of course, but for example that pet off the last Kara boss is going for about 4k average on my server right now. With the way this expansion throws money at people (and that pet being required for an achievement) some collectors would rather just drop 4k than slog through Kara for multiple weeks.

How much gold value are the tokens worth now though? I mean, if you have to invest time to get something whatever but if you're just doing it for gold... and aren't poor...
