The game basically resets every expansion. Leave in the content because your character is set back to square 1 every time an expansion drops. To clarify, I dont really care whether they leave in content or not. I do think it is cool when you have gear or have done content that is no longer accessible, adds a bit of personal uniqueness.
I'm not one of those guys all about gear and I don't sit out in Org or wherever in my cool transmog gear hoping people will inspect me NOTICE ME SENPAI
In my list of things i care about, this is about as low as it can be.
I read an article where the original requirements for the first backpack slot were that it was static and would never change. So oddly enough the first slot's code is completely and totally independent than normal backpack code. Blizzard also said this is probably the oldest code still being used. They've gone through and tried to refactor and re-work the first-slot code but when they did there were so many tangental bugs that would crop up that they've just decided to let the code be and never promise to increase that backpack.Yea I thought it was something to do with caching all the items in the first bag so any increase is a massive infrastructure hit. Basically something that probably could be fixed but why bother when you can add slots in other bags.
Reminder that most quest and event triggers in WoW are achieved by killing invisible bunnies.Yeah, I'm not sure who is still advocating for the split factions. It could be that there are technical limitations, but I doubt it.
Trains, rabbits and slideshows: six ingenious dev tricks - PC GamerLOL it's April 4 now.
Or are you being serious?
Its not so much butthurt but more than factions don't really make much sense any more. Since cata 90% of the quests in all but a couple zones like frost fire are very nearly side agnostic where you are getting the exact same quests with the exact same quest givers. If we are that friendly x faction already why not let people group with buddies who happen to be horde or alliance.I don't know why people get so butthurt about hard factions. I think it adds at least something original to the game where everything else was neutered. But of course I am some naturalist shitlord who also thought removing legendary quest lines wasn't so bad.
I don't know if the crafting is fully implementing but from what I have seen so far the gathering is very least back to being worth while. Its going back to you making your own stuff instead of having the automated building doing all your work for you. For gathering it looks like there are teirs of gathering skill that allow you to specialize or improve your ability to harvest specific things and quests/events that trigger doing your harvesting.Question about Legion for people who are in alpha. Are they reverting the gutjob they gave professions in WoD and making them worthwhile again?
