So there are of course OP classes, and ones that are under-tuned, if we are putting it nicely. But I'm curious, at some comparisons between say my 855 Enh Shaman, and if I was a 855 Fire Mage. Would life be easy as pie, or would I not see much difference? I have nearly a 100+ of every class because of the grass is always greener syndrome. I'll see a mage like Morghus (@Burren) and be like dannnnggg I want a mage bad. Or see the upcoming buffs to Frost and it motivates me to be that token Frost mage! haha. But I'm thinking that I wouldn't see much difference to my shaman, and at the least be a hell of a while to even catch up in AP to do any kind of even comparison.

Right?

Dunno, because when I open the socketing interface, Pawn suggests green qual gems on 830- ilvl gear, and blue qual gems on 835+ items.

But when the item is socketed, it absolutely takes its current gem into account for score.

Autohotkey and keyboard macros are against the TOS, but I don't know of anybody that has been banned for use key-repeat macros. Its also super obvious with some streamers that they too are using such macros. You hear them hitting their keyboard at one rate but their icon in game is flashing at 10x the speed. If I want to cast 10 fireballs in a row, I should be able to just hold down the key and let it spam those 10 fireballs. I am against have a macro hit 1-2-3 repeating but at the end of the day, I really don't care how you play as long as you stay out of the damn fire.

I think the unofficial stance is you can use macros and automation programs so long as you still need to be at your desk to use them (i.e. - not a BOT, a MACRO).

This is not correct. Autohotkey and keyboard macros are perfectly legal. It's how people dual box and Blizzard has officially said it's fine as long as you are at your keyboard actively hitting a key.

Our guild has had a few botters and if I had to guess we have a few now. It's quite the dps disparity between regular players

The popular bots have had a few ban waves since legion launch and people have disappeared and came back with new characters. So its pretty obvious in most cases. But I wouldnt directly tie amazing dps to a bot, by any means... lol. Fishing though? That shit can eat shit and die for all I care. I dont know how you guys do that mess.

Yeah I am looking for a fishing bot that is safe and I am not ashamed to say it.

I will sit there staring at the screen the entire time but actively doing it is pure aids.

I botted from time to time to see how some things worked. It helped me lead a raid while tanking since some people needed to be told every single thing to do.

Figure out what gem you will generally be putting in there (aka 150 mastery). Multiply what ever weight you gave each point of that stat by this number. Put the answer in pawn as the value for the socket.

I'd be tempted to use a fishing bot just to go 1-800 skill, while I sat there and read a book in front of the laptop or something...

But also wouldn't want to risk my 12 year old WoW account.

is every class getting a new legendary added to their loot table in 7.1? Warriors are getting Kargath's Sacrificed Hands which heals you for 5% of total hp over 5 seconds every time you ignore pain...holy shit that seems crazy especially combined with the 1% heal per 10 rage spent bracers.

going 1-800 fishing literally takes a few hours now.

go buy a shitty fishing pole in orgrimmar. go straight to draenor to any open water area and fish 2-3 casts and you'll get "secret of draenor's fishing" read it and you dont have to retrain until 700 skill. Then start hitting the legion zones, even at skill level 1-2 you can start fishing up useful fish, use the special lures you fish up for the achievement and you get +5 to your skill for throwing the fish back (you get 10-15 special fish per cast so you get around 50 skill ups every lure). i went 1-800 with artifact fishing pole in about 5-6 hours fishing 1 hour a day for a few days.
