no idea, it feels good but then again we cant sim things by "feel". literally all you do is take devastator and replace devastate with thunderclap on your hotbar and then not press revenge unless it lights up.

tanking on the dummies i have a lot more rage it feels like to play with.

because as wormie wormie said, they have no idea what they're doing. this is a different team doing actual balancing etc than previously, right?

obviously way too early to make any real calls, Nighthold isn't until "mid to late january" per Blizzard (and that is when 7.1.5 is), but for Hunter at least: nothing too major but the Marksmanship changes are enough to make me put a hold on playing it all.

You know something new to try would be to smooth out the downtime between bursts would still involve skill but not get boned you know small buffs instead of nerfs or mechanic changes



Sorry exhausted plus salty as hell. I just don't get why they can't build something have it be awesome say look at the skill involved and then try to bring other classes closer. or you know create mechancs in raids that allow others to shine so they don't have to nerf

They designed a class based on feels. They feel S2M is nice so they are keeping it what it is and trying to work around it. But it is literally an unmanageable ability. An ability that sets your DPS to 0 due to even the slightest latency or a bit of a fuck up must be OP otherwise its ridiculous. So its fucking OP and retarded. And they dont want to fix it because some fat nerd thinks this is awesome class lore. Bunch of fuck sticks. At least they are getting rid of aids sear, so there is that.

weird all my legendaries still say 895 but my avg itemlevel jumped to 884 as soon as I logged on anyway. Reloadui hasn't fixed it and guildies say it says 910 when i link them... anyone else getting that?

Because being rage starved is technically fine because all RFDT goes into IP. This is how IP acts crudely as a percent mitigation despite being static.

All your current threat can easily be fueled by shield slam. So much so that some of it fuels IP too, thus even further mitigating the negatives of low rage.

Now that revenge might cost 30 rage throws a small quirk in all of that but I suspect most tanks will only use it when free and rely more on improved tclap for ae aggro.

I was one of those that really like the current s2m playstyle. I know some hate it but i really enjoyed it. what i don't understand is this. before the expansion they released this, said heres the class this is what it is and we're not doing sweeping changes. Yet here we are.... I just wish they'd do something novel like creative mechanics for classes to shine, small buffs through the expac so shit like this doesn't happen etc etc.... I'm thrilled im losing a spell that was basically trash but not at the cost of all these nerfs and changes. I just wish they'd commit to what they present for one expac lol... i know foolish thinking..

Theyve been saying that they were going to change the S2M ability by either changing it or getting rid of it outright since basically legion launch. Spriest doing incredible damage at high end game play was/is ruining it for most other people. Looking at the logs and seeing that they absolutely dominate other classes on just about every boss is just silly. Bringing them down in the S2M scope was necessary. Bringing them down overall is just going to put them back at the bottom of the pile, not wanting to be played anymore except by house moms.

Its not the playstyle that is bad, its the fact that s2m is not a skill that can be balanced.

Thick Hide has already been lowered, but why are they lowering cat and bear crit chance? More than that, where is that passive? I can't find it anywhere on my character.
