As a filthy casual I absolutely love world quests. It gives me something different(ish) to do every day when I log in for my typical hour or so.

Just wait, it gets better. Once almost all the hardcore people are at cap on all their weapons, the amount of carries for M+ and DF dungeon and raid runs will plummet. Once content consumption goes down overall legendary acquisition rate will plummet as well, causing even more burnout.

It only gets worse from here...

I don't think this will happen. They are releasing new points every tier along with (eventually) another 20 point golden trait.

It's just more dailies spread out over the week or whatever.

I get it, for some people it's great.

Im stuck in the vanilla raiding lifestyle.

Loot is my biggest issue this expansion, i do some of the hardest content (relatively speaking) in the game and the loot i receive is worse than if someone gets lucky on a Mythic+2. warforge/titanforge is the worst system blizzard has ever come up with, it makes planning upgrades and character progression paths a pain in the ass, i much preferred the 0/2 upgrades you could do on items with valor (conquest?) points. make items harder to upgrade for example an 885 item being upgraded to 895 could require points you only get from mythic+10 or higher, or from mythic raid content. but upgrading an item from 875 to 885 could require points from mythic 7-9 relying on the rng gods (even though they have been generous to me this past evening) is god damn ridiculous.

for legendaries there should be a way to target specific ones, let me set a mandatory 3-4 that i would like and guarantee the next drop will be one of those make it cost something like 30k-40k order resources or something, or require clearing certain content before the follower quest pops up (heroic raid content in the current tier or mythic+13), or allow me to sell my current legendary for an increased chance for my next one there are numerous ways they can improve the system to cut down on the RNG madness that is happening.

WQ are a waste of time if you are higher ilevel with the exception of the tiny chance to get a legendary out of the emissary chest, i normally go out of my way to do the 3 "kill one elite" quests (warriors with the Order hall upgrade can instant complete 1 per day so i only have to do 3) its cool if thats your thing, a lot of people enjoy them but its just dailies rebranded.

I think every single person that plays Legion can agree that Warforge/Titanforge is complete ass.

Warforge not as much because that is only a 10 ilvl possible upgrade and occurs much more frequently but Titanforge can go suck an egg.

BiS is not something you can really shoot for anymore. Like sure, my BiS boots come from EN... or that random world quest it if procs 895 or a normal level dungeon if it procs 895 or an emissary cache if it procs 895...

This makes handing out gear in raids so much more difficult or even knowing what to shoot for. SInce nothing 895 drops it's literally playing the lottery for BiS gear.

No man don't sugarcoat it. The entire system is fucking dumb.

Not so bad once you stop caring! Kill shit, maybe an upgrade will drop!

Seriously, though, it does suck from a character investment standpoint. You can't plan drops or dungeons nearly as well as you used to.

Some of those tertiary stats would be interesting if I could stack them. Just about anybody could benefit from a healthy amount of leech and movespeed.

Fuck indestructible.

Nah, tertiary stats are helpful in a minor way. Except for, you know, indestructible.

Yep, RNG upon RNG upon RNG and then "hey, it titanforged -- oh never mind, it's indestructible, fuck off". It's like a never-ending puppet box and they all say "fuck you lol".

Could you guys doubly bitch about Diablo 3 loot while complaining about WoW? Two birds with one stone kind of thing.

I don't mind the loot in Diablo as much. The game is faster paced. There are ways to take your loot and turn it in to something else. Like sure, it's more RNG lottery but it's better then just another shard. I run a dungeon in D3 and in 15 minutes I get approximately 400 pieces of loot. I run a 15 minute dungeon in WoW and possibly I get 2 pieces. If I am lucky that is.

One game I play to continually improve a character, the other game I play as a loot pinata button masher.
