That fight was beyond boring for pretty much everyone. I was an offtank. Here, tank this unmezzable add over here in the back for the next two hours.

As a monk my main job was to juggle mod rods. Got real good at turning them into art.

I'm mainly going to try and see how many of the challenge appearances I can get before they go away. Be nice if I could get all of them, but not looking likely considering I have no fucking clue how to play most of these specs.

Pretty sure at todays ilvl you can cheese a lot of the challenges

Depending on the challenge, you still need to understand how to play decently in order to pass, and, in some cases, have the right legos.

Even at ~935 on alts, I have spent hours with Bear (lacking lufta) and Prot Pally (I just suck), whereas Blood DK took less than 10 attempts. Havoc also gave some issues with messing up double jump egress, or trying to rush the boss too fast in arcane phase. Granted, I am only doing an occasional LFR, at most, no M+, and mostly buying relinquished tokens with the shards you get from missions (dont do WQs either).

Yeah, getting gear/legos is going to be a bitch. My shaman only needs the resto appearance, but I don't know the first damn thing about healing. Tried it a couple times at 540ish and couldn't make it through phase 1. My druid and monk are 915ish and I think I might be able to pull off the WW appearance within not too many attempts. The rest of my chars are all fresh 110s, though, hit 6 of them today and my DK is still sitting at 105. Thankfully my warlock at least has the corruption lego, though it's at 940 from the last time I touched that char right after I finished leveling it, which I hear really helps. Trying to aim for the Luffa wraps on the druid for the guardian challenge. Most likely, I'll have to just pick the ones I want the most and aim for those first then go from there. I don't think I have enough time to gear up for everyone.

I did Ww at like 900 equipped without knowing the spec. If you have prydaz and you macro your paralysis it'll take about 5 attempts.

Ran a few dungeons on ptr as a tank, DH is over tuned as fuck atm. I purposely pulled heavy 3-4 packs at a time and only died using BrM (tested BrM, Dk, war). I had a guild pocket healer during the tests.

DH was the least spikey, felt like I had a ton of tools and emergency heals when I was low, but soulbarrier and fiery brand being on gcd felt bad. Soulcleave works a lot like frenzied regn now.

The new blood DK abilities added yesterday feel good but still feels like it's lacking something. It could be also be me not being 100% capable with a bdk.

War was more of the same, IP feels more adequate then what it is on live but the rotation isn't amazing and feels like wack-a-mole. Charge is on the gcd and SW/LS. that has to change if they want warriors to be competitive.

On tanking dummies I did 5 stacks on BrM, 7 on warrior, 9 on DK, 13 on DH.

Obviously numbers are going to get tuned but DH has the most complete suite of tools atm.

BrM has been absolutely amazing in ABT, but with the "nerfs" they did around ToS coupled with losing the imo best quality of life lego (chest) Monk just feels in a weird spot.

they need to make Blackout combo baseline (you can even remove the dps buff from tiger palm) and then add a dps talent in its place on the bottom row (something that functions like the current legos).

druid is in a similar spot atm with losing so much from their artifact that they do shit dps and are decently spiky.

More interested seeing how they fare on bosses, which is where they shine. Not like top people use them for m+ anyways, it's always bdk and vdh

I think the problem with brewmaster (lol) in m+ is we don't have much self sustain and our only real benefit is we can kite well.

Everyone already knows my feelings on prot warriors.

Pretty sure at todays ilvl you can cheese a lot of the challenges

A lot of the DPS classes can just power through theirs now. Demo warlock is still frustrating me. It is a high movement fight on a class that that is really immobile. Just very irritating. Boomkin is a joke with argus level ilevels basically you just run around moonfiring the one guy for a bit then moonfire the other guy a bit then starsurge the hands down as soon as they pop up rinse/repeat.

At 900 ilvl i had the hardest time with brm. Tried again at the end of TOS and 3 or 4-shot it.

I did the aff warlock one in like 7 attempts at 900 with the cheese ring.

Should probably do WW

WW isn't bad, just have to macro your interrupt and maybe use prydaz like Sumdain said earlier. At ABT ilvls it shouldn't be hard for anyone really.

I must be a complete shit healer (never played a healer in groups or raids) because i cannot do the mage tower healer challenges. I've tried it on a Monk and on a Priest and just get owned.

i've heard its difficult on a Monk, but even at ABT gear levels and healer legos im still getting destroyed.

I did the Fury challenge right when it came out and I think I was around ~910 ilvl or so with the gear setup I made for it. It was very frustrating and I got mad a few times when I played like shit and got hit my a meteor.

Then after we had ToS on farm I went back to do the Arms/Prot challenges and with around ~948 ilvl and they both got steamrolled. Beating the challenges at the time they came out was great as you felt that you accomplished something, but with all the gear now it should be very easy to get through them.

I still need to do the challenges for my DK while I can and since the Frost /Blood challenges are the same as the Arms/Prot ones, I know I can just brute force them at this point.

On the mount farming side of things I just finally got Invincible last night after farming that place on/off after all these years and it felt great. I got it on my DK and I guess I should start farming other mounts on it as it might be my lucky break into mount farming.
