Well there goes the one race I did want to play...
Of course balance druid is last on the fucking list for spec modifications before an expansion. Been that way every single fucking time.
They wanted to reduce the amount of gear you had to carry, and Legion ultimately inflated the number of pieces I had to carry around. Bit ironic.
Tweaking gear to min/max is one thing, having to swap entire sets and talents is another. I didn't find much fun or enjoyment in it. I just wanted to kill shit and focus on mechanics, without losing 100% damage because I didn't click a few buttons before an encounter. It wasn't hard, just fuckin annoying.
Demo got gutted. the numbers will obviously need to be tuned since its the "new shiny" but as it stands right now it is by a large margin the weakest warlock spec. PTR numbers have been entertaining, as a BrM kegsmash hits harder than a chaos bolt from a destro lock. Guard on BrM is pretty fun, but it definitely needs to be tuned, right now its like a single ignore pain every 30 seconds, not amazing. hopefully they adjust the scaling numbers.
Ion probably isn't wrong that 99% of the playerbase doesn't change gear in M+, but then again i would like to see the numbers on what percent of people have completed a 20? gear swapping only really becomes mandatory at the 22+ level for unavoidable one shot mechanics.
One funny note is they almost have to buff fellguard to at least the DPS of the other warlock pets again because otherwise people will just whip out one of the other pets and change their talents to avoid the ones that command the fel guard to do something. Seeing demos avoiding the felguard is something I don't think blizz will let last long.
I wish blizz did a better job of balancing tanks for M+ =/

Dev Watercooler: World of Warcraft Classic - WoW
"After careful consideration, we decided on Patch 1.12: Drums of War as our foundation, because it represents the most complete version of the classic experience. " Yasss...
Tank wise who do you think are the strongest ones currently? I've only done tons of dungeons and so far it's vdh and dk are leading the pack. Which im not surprised the self healing tanks. I was hoping prot warrior gets more love but I wasn't impressed with them. Pally and brm I'm still feeling them out and I didn't even touched bear tank.Balance right now is pretty strong on beta, originally we were going to have 5 warlocks on the raid team but i think 2 are swapping to balance. these are some of our stronger players and they think balances potential is higher than warlock atm (not counting any last minute crazy tunings)
