Completed the mage tower challenges on my DK. Blood took me about 40 to 50 tries to complete. The major issue I had was getting knocked out the platform from the eyes in phase one and in phase two the wraiths at times seem to go straight to Velen even when I aggroed one of them. It was very annoying and I almost have up on this challenge. Guildie kept telling me don't give up and keep trying. Glad I listened.
Did the Unholy one long ago and that took 3 to 4 tries. Apprently it was bugged and the boulders weren't spawning. That was a freebie.
The frost one wasn't bad at all. About a dozen or so tries before completing it. The arcane phase was the hardest part of the encounter. Just took some practice getting it down. Last phase I was able to burn the the boss before he even got a chance to summon his second set of adds.
I got all of the hidden artifacts too on my DK too. I just missing the PvP and balance of power skins.

Hot damn, MW done. Took 3 attempts, was surprisingly not bad at all. Only reason I failed the first attempt was I got worried about DPS when Edris was at about 20% and I tried to dig through my spellbook for fucking crackling jade lightning and just forgot to heal Jarod and he died with Edris at like 5% (yeah, I couldn't find it in an alphabetical spellbook). Got my holy paladin pimped out with as much crit as I could find. Last one!
For The Chosen run, I won't be home until 10:30ish EST most likely. If you're doing multiple runs, I'll see if I can hop in one of the later ones.

What's the rule of thumb on ilvl for Mythic dungeons? I had some guy try to tell me 920 was required for Mythic 6, but I was tanking it just fine at 900 and you wouldn't even get an upgrade if you were full 920.
Today I tried to join a Mythic 10 at ilvl 930 and got rejected. I asked him what ilvl he was looking for and he said "idk". So do you just want carried or what the fuck? He seriously could not answer me on what ilvl he was looking for. I then l looked him up and he is at 933 Woyor - WoW. I know I'm the tank and all, but fuck you dude.
Anyways, would love a rule of thumb.

There really is no rule of thumb for PUGs. I've been rejected several times on my 945 lock for trivial shit like +3 Maws. Some people start groups and just want a bunch of 960-970s only to carry them.
At least you're a tank so you should have a much easier time getting into groups than DPS does.

Damn I just used my 1k yesterday and got the absolute worst DH legendary. But yay for AP now granting Wakening Essence instead. Was sick of quests that were supposed to be meaningful essentially giving gold.
These people are the absolute worst. You usually notice them at the bottom of DPS meters too. They suck so bad they have to be carried. That guy was such a fucking retard. He could not tell me what ilvl he wanted, cos he was basically just waiting for someone with 960 to join. Fucking scrubs.

It also sounds like stuff that would normally give you AP is going to give you Essence now. So, I wouldn't worry too much about having just spent some.

There's no real benefit. The thing is, if you later want to raise, say, pandaria alchemy, you will not be able to without doing pandaria recipes. Right now, you can gather some plant seed, craft basic potions that reward 5 skill, and get to 600 skill, which will mean that you will have pandaria alchemy fully unlocked on tuesday, and you will just need to buy the recipes. No effort.
So, if you have anything below 700 (except harvesting, which don't matter), now is the best time to make sure everything is unlocked. The only thing I'm going to finish raising to 700 on a couple characters is... cooking. Just in case.

Holy heck are the 'War Fronts' boring in BfA. I can see half the people just AFKing through them now.
If it were not for all of the pets/mounts, I would never step foot into one other than the once-a-week world boss.
They are basically impossible to lose, unless your entire group is eating paste and AFK.
Let me rephrase that. If it is your FACTIONS turn to win, it is almost impossible to lose. They 'swap' every few hours, to make sure everyone gets a turn or some stupid shit.

So Thursday I started leveling my monk and now I have him at 110 ilvl 920 but I am having some issues with the brew mage tower might just be that I am tired. Still I could use some more ilvl to full cheese it. Able to get to phase 2 but I don't last very long once there. Of course that could also be because I know jack and shit about monk. I didn't evenness realize purifying brew was a thing until I was doing the tower.
Thankfully I got a hand on some M+ and LFR from a couple of forum bros to speed up the gearing. Also finished off lock and hunter, I wasn't even gonna do survival but fuck it slammed it out.
Started leveling the rouge got to 102 but I have to take a break for a bit. Pretty sure I can hit 110 on rouge tommorow without issue leaving just the shaman to level and gear. Think I can get a few more done before Tuesday but getting all 36 might be to much to ask last minute wise. My own fault for not even logging in the last 4-5 months.

BrM took me like 200 attempts at 905 ilevel before they nerfed the tower in week 3. I race changed to BE to make it easier. Probably 2nd hardest challenge unless you're geared enough to cheese it (3 face palm relics + chest +shoulders) also use niuzao to tank for you if you need to.
I only have resto druid left and I don't care enough about that skin to farm up nethershards.
