Just fired up the WOW yesterday, and already downed first 2 arts of siege. My hunter in 510-530 gear was pulling 100k over the course of both raids. Yay for pushing the flashing buttons. Got 1 drop out of 8 bosses. Ring. Whee. Need to find out how to get seals.
I'm at 517 after two weeks. Got 6 drops last night from 10 chances. Lulz.

7 Garrosh normal kills and not a single fucking BOA. Meanwhile other guild mates are on their 4th BoA. Fucking retarded.

You've got like 9 more months of Garrosh kills before you'll need them for leveling, it's fine!

First one is guaranteed to be for your character (ie class/spec). After that you can get any of the BoAs. Or never see one!

Were you guaranteed the weapon drops off the final expansion boss in previous expansions? I honestly dont know but find the hint of entitlement amusing.

The curve is ridiculously flat now. Between Timeless Isle and LFR, there is no excuse for anyone to be under 500 ilvl anymore. However, I seem to recall at the end of Wrath, things sped up quite a bit with Triumph badges, some OP abilities (Hi 2u Wild Growth v.1 and Ultimate Ret Pally) being added to the game , and generally mass gearing of the population at large. Its like Blizzard gives everyone a kick to experience the remaining life of the expansion as much as possible before this becomes a desolate wasteland like BC and Northrend.

No entitlement but confusion on whether it is a guaranteed drop or guaranteed spec drop.

Also this is a leveling BOA weapon.

I wish they had proc effects on them, but I guess you wouldn't want it too competitive with heroic dungeon weapons (or t16.5 raid weapons).

Yeah, you will most likely be around ilvl 500 within a few days of hitting 90 now. Considering that the large ilvl gaps between raid tiers made all old content obsolete this was necessary. Would not be much point trying to force alts/new players to gear up on old content that no one else wanted to do. Another thing we should remember is that the difference in power between ilvl 496 and normal ilvl 553 gear is huge. This is very noticeable in SoO LFRs where a single skilled player with normal/heroic gear can easily do the dps of 5 less skilled players with timeless gear.

As a filthiest of filthy casuals, I have finally completed all of the LFR raids and must say I enjoyed them quite well. The movies, fights, and the people were quite entertaining. God bless this LFR feature, it works wonders for me.

That being said, is there any reason I would ever want to move up to Flex, Normal, Heroic?

I understand Heroic fights will have new mechanics and of course be harder but as the typical casual, I really just enjoy seeing all the dungeons, bosses, cut scenes, etc. Does any of that change as you go higher in difficulty?
