Why does it say pre-purchase now? That was never the deal before was it? I remember them just saying "Buy WoD and get a free 90".

It's still "buy expansion and get a free boost to 90", only they're adding the fact that if you pre-purchase it, you get the boost right now instead of on release day. Nothing fancy really, it's like when people who pre-purchase online get the CE pets and mounts before release.

If its still 60 bucks, I dont foresee running into too many people that are fresh 90. Annoying when you do, but its not like you're going to be running the most current raid content on normal with them.
Im not going to knock on the healing till I know more about what they are going to change. This is Blizzard after all. Im just hoping they learned something from Cataclysm.

I think I really like the world, races and classes, as well as a lot of good memories. I've been thinking about doing it, but then I've been thinking "Well, I can level up and then when I get to max all the fun will be sucked out when forced into cookie-cutter builds and playstyles and playing how I want makes me a Bad." and it lessened my interest to re-sub.

Had terrible luck on the Isle getting gear from chests for my Hunter. Started at 450 ilvl, and had to grind heroics for justice points and gear to finally boost myself above 480 to start doing ToT LFRs. Hit that today, and been loving it so far.
I took a move out of Kruegen's playbook. Weaving in and out of all the other DPS, while still doing full DPS myself. Fun!

I've not raided heroic anything, since the mode was released, so I have no basis of comparison, but is 300+ attempts normal? That seems like a hell of a lot of attempts. Now from posts on this thread, that fight seems to be one of the harder ones to learn and win, but still... 300+?

Method says it took them 200+ attempts on Sigecrafter, Klaxxi, and Garrosh each. We also were using the wrong fucking strat for 250 of those...and I would say half of those wipes were easily our belt hunter disengaging into the abyss.

Blizzard has always been #1 fuckawful worst at making healers fun/not shit. They will botch this job, have no doubts.

Oh yea it was a rush. I've said it before but the jump in difficulty from heroic thokk to blackfuse is so huge it's funny. It took about a month to get Thokk down pre-nerf and it's been 2 months on Blackfuse. We only do 3 nights a week.Gotcha, so it's damn hard to get the fights down. Nice, grats. We're still on him...our problem is we've had 3 nights of work on him TOTAL since downing Thok in mid-January. Scheduling conflicts galore and lack of available replacement talent on Grizzly Hills.

BC launched in January of '07, almost 2 years and 2months after Vanilla. If WoD isn't released before late November, then yes it will be the longest.
Why give a firm release date and allow the new games to work around your release when you can be vague which allows you to drop the hammer on the new guys when they give a firm date?
