Last I heard they were going to delay flying until the second tier of raid content.

In the end the fight is less about dps and more about execution. Dispells are key, had a really good try (under 20%, got excited) when the splurt-type dot ate me.
Before, I mainly had problems with the felhunters. Stupid things, but once I knew where to move the pitlord and how to catch the puppies before they found him, that was good.

Other times I just forgot to sac my imp, forgot to summon a healthstone, forgot to dispell myself on cooldown, forgot to use the pitlord heal, clicked on some damn imp and lost target --> no interrupt on cataclysm, etc etc etc.

In my last fight, I actually forgot the healthstone again. Didn't notice until running a heroic later that evening though. Didn't need it. Ember Tap & pitlord heal is plenty. Put the pitlord heal on mousebutton5 or something, and don't be afraid to stand in his breath, much easier to keep up with the dispells that way. Dispelling is probably the most important part of the fight.

Also, fire & brimstone on those fucking imps ... feelsgoodman.

What I did right:
- flask up
- buff food
- sac imp
- set kanrethad as focus target

I was horribly overgeared on my last 5 tries (545 ilvl, legendary cloak) and still managed to fuck up. But as I said, my reflexes aren't what they used to be, I'm not that much of a gamer any more.

There are plenty of youtube guides for the fight. Green fire is green fire, it burns so much hotter than regular fire. Because it's green. (would make an awesome title for a feat of strength... now that I think of it. "Because it's green.")

I think I got it because I bored the fucker to death with my wipes and he took pity of my sorry gnome ass.
Keybinding is the key, I start to hate games where I need to manage too much stuff, gotta be the age.

Only way I will not have a bitchfit over 'No Flying' is if they go back and change all of my rare/TCG/Achievement mounts that are flying only and make them available for my use as ground mounts in WoD.

Yeah I really feel they are hurting themselves by not trying to push this out by at least August. December 20th? Fuck that, I dont plan on getting my cloak and BiS for all 8 of my 90s, maybe my paladin after I am done with my DK right now but thats it. And even if I take my time my paladin would be maxxed no later than June probably with my work schedule.

I'm glad I came back recently. I've got 90 Paladin, Druid, Mage, and Hunter I'm working on all of them!! So much to do, so fun!!

I can't wait to get home every night and play!! It's good to take breaks every once in a while.

I understand no flying mount while leveling the the first time. But that's where it should end. Finish the content once? Flying unlocked forever. And fuck PVP servers because fuck catering to goddamn PVP all the fucking time. So much of the game has been neutered because of that shit.

Right now I prepurchased and leveled a 90 horde warlock to check PvP and the Horde side, I hardly have ever PvP (since BC) so I'm going to give it a shot, but I doubt it can keep me hooked for 9 months.

Did they have something recently that gave a lot of lesser coins? In the last year or so? My 90 Paladin, had 300 or so lesser's banked, and so I've been able to get the warforged seals every week pretty easy, but I never farmed them. Was the quest line leading up to SoO dropping lessers? When we had to kill all those dudes in The Barrens? Not really a big deal, but I'm just trying to figure out why I have so many banked, and none of my others toons do.

I've already hit 90 and failed at wow. Used boost on a warlock and went to BT to solo a bit. Had done this on paladin, monk so far. I was like hell yeah a demonology warlock will tear down some old raids!!! I spent the next 15 minutes pinned to the ground by Najentus spike followed by a death when attrition finally killed my pet. That was fun! Apparently I can use sacrifice talent and burn him down. I'll give it a shot another time lol.

Dailies gave them up until Timeless Isle, now they give coins for the vendor shit when you complete a quest.

HOWEVER, if you go to the area where the fuckin' frogs are, you can get 50 coins in like 10 minutes (assuming you kill fast enough...and remember they have that 10 stack insta kill poison debuff).

Many old raids count a pet (or even a guardian proc) as a player, which can trigger death abilities you can't escape from. For instance, if you use a pet vs. Lady Vashj, she will mind control you. On those types of fights, sac your pet and manmode it.
