If you're 90 then JP means fuck all. You can get heirlooms to help with a new alt or convert them to honor at a 2/1 ratio and buy 522 PVP gear. It's an easy (if not cheezy) way to bump your ilvl for some LFR shit but forewarning for reasons not quite understood to me 90 boosters in full 483 gear will love to rip on you and call your gear shit.

The people replacing their 90 boost 483 greens with 463 heroic gear to avoid ridicule and thinking they're getting away with it are blowing my mind.
Also, everyone on Earth used it to get a Warlock, Timeless Isle is just wall to wall and ass deep in Voidwalkers and people asking in general why they aren't doing 250k on quest mobs.

So I figured out what I'm going to do with my toons, as I wanted to boost a toon to 90, but didn't know which, and healing on my Paladin was getting kind of stale and old.
Going Prot/Ret on my paladin, and boosting a Disc Priest to 90. Not having a DPS spec for farming is terrible, and annoying. My holy paladin is my top geared toon so far at 520, but oh well. Won't take long to make the switch to Ret/Prot.
I got a Warlock for pvp mainly, went ahead and decked him in 476 crafted grievous, PvP power/res is more important than PvE stats on the 483s.
I never understood that or how it works if it goes wrong. If you pay a guild 200k gold(going rate on my server for a 25H Garrosh) to run you and you get jack shit for drops are you just SOL?

Well, you get the mount in normal automatically. In Heroic, one drops, and you get that. Not to mention the achievements. But yes, if you're looking to do a Heroic Carry and get gear, you're SOL if the loot Gods arent on your side. 10 Man Heroic Carries are really profitable. One carry a week, using just your numbers of 200k, 800k at the end of the month sold is just over 1100 bucks if sold first hand, second hand its 650. Between 9 people who are just playing a game for fun? Yes, please.

I've heard of plenty that play the AH so much, they don't have time to raid, or learn fights, etc. But, alternatively, they have like 3 million gold, and can drop a couple hundo on some heroic raids, just as mentioned above.

I use valor to boost myself up to 530. Get Shado Pan assault to friendly (one wing of ToT LFR will do that), and you can buy level 522 gear and upgrade each piece to 530. This is useful, especially if tier pieces don't drop for you in ToT raids. JP has a use if you have filled out on the timeless gear on everything but slots the RNG gods there don't want you to have. For me that would be fingers, neck, and trinkets. So I usually use JP to fill out 496 (502?) vendor gear from Towlong Steppes and the Alliance/Horde vendors in Krasarang Wilds. Also you can convert JP to Honor and massively over spend to get the 522 PVP weapon. (You have to get 14k JP to get it though so it's not really worth it unless you are just really bored)

Not sure why they were in LFR, but doing Underhold LFR last night, and there was an enhancement shaman putting out 280k sustained dps.. hitting like 600k in short bursts. Wtf?
Been trying to decide on a next toon, and I've never done a shaman, but that was nuts! haha. Then again, I'd be saying the same thing if I came across a normal/heroic geared of any other dps class.

Although, I'm so far keeping up on all the toons with raids, and valor, etc every week. Hunter and Paladin are both on the legendary cloak quest. Both are collecting 3k valor!
Mage and Druid are falling behind though. lol. Mage so squishy, and although I'm into ToT raids, which will get me to LFR, it sucks not being able to go murder mobs for Black Prince rep, or on Timeless. Murder as easily I should say. lol
And for melee DPS, I have my paladin that could go Ret. But that sounds lame!

Legendary quest probably.
I did three or four LFRs yesterday and they were pretty rough. Like Last Stand of the Zandalari, only 5 DPS were above 90k. Top 4 were in the 130k+ range, one person just below 100, and the rest were in the 80s and lower. I imagine it is an influx of new 90s that got boosted but who knows.
