Yes and a trade skill selected at least.Gotta be 60 for that though right?

It's easy bunky. If there's a tank swap (check the journal) it's usually at 3 stacks on the other tank. Otherwise, if you fuck up the other tank will probably yell at you and you'll figure it out pretty quick. Nothing's too terribly hard in LFR.Glad to see others working through the legendary quest on multiple toons. I'm doing the same thing on my Paladin + Hunter. Hunter finished Secrets last night, and got the Tempered Lance done. Just have to do a couple more quests on Isle of Thunder to "unlock" the Foot of Le Shen or something. That'll put me on Titan stones for my Hunter, then back to Paladin to collect more secrets.![]()
I'm too scared to go tank on my Paladin though, since I don't really know how to tank any of the LFR fights. He's Holy though, so the queues are not too bad.![]()
I hear you wear it for a while in WoD.Is there a good reason for returning players to do the legendary cloak quest? My main goal was to prep for WoD by getting my 85s up to 90 and my newb up to 60. Wasn't planning on trying to gear any of them up since almost all gear becomes obsolete every time a new expansion comes out. Will this legendary cloak quest item remain best in slot even at the new level cap?
The way I figure it, although it sounds it will last a while, is that even if it didn't last a while, there isn't much else to do at this point other than farm for legendary, and if you haven't raided, I suppose get into LFR and Flex to up your gear. At least for me, there isn't much else to do. Farm for JP to convert to honor for pvp gear. Farm LFRs or Flex to inflate my ilvl. Do legendary quest. Boost a new toon to 90, and do it all on that one? lolIs there a good reason for returning players to do the legendary cloak quest? I find that WoW has always had just tons to do, and that's no different today. However, if you've played consistently through MoP, you'd have much less that wasn't just direct grinds (like older factions and dungeon/raid mounts/pets, or the TI rep, ugh, or dino bones on Isle of Giants, etc). If he's a returning player, chances are there's tons of MoP stuff he hasn't done that he could still. I find the legendary cloak to be pretty interesting to do, and the grindy parts (raid tokens, valor) are stuff I was going to naturally collect anyways through just normal raiding and playing. Toss in some neat lore and solo stuff, and it's a good experience if you just "let it happen", and you get a nice meta gem and cloak out of it. Plus you can then kill Ordos. The way I figure it, although it sounds it will last a while, is that even if it didn't last a while, there isn't much else to do at this point other than farm for legendary, and if you haven't raided, I suppose get into LFR and Flex to up your gear. Oh ya, the stuff involved with just the legendary quest keeps me busier than I sometimes can complete each week doing it on 2 toons. I worded it wrong, but it's weird. There is a lot to do, but at the same time, I feel there isn't shit to do. This feeling probably stems from having done it for so long already.I find that WoW has always had just tons to do, and that's no different today. The last time I did Thok LFR a troll tank pulled the bats and shit over to the sidewall and took out a good 12 people when that yeti came crashing into them. No one was even mad cause it was one of the funniest goddamn things I'd seen in a while.I laugh my balls off throughout LFR, so there's value there too. I saw 5 melee die at once to Thok because they kept chasing him around dpsing during fixate, all while a healer was throwing a goddamn fit at them to stop.
Flex is less funny because you should have the power to immediately remove the retards but the retards are usually the ones in charge of the damn raid. Sigh.
Welp, that's that. Time for Blizzard to file for bankruptcy.
They are still I think the biggest MMO on the market by a long shot if you can even maintain the 5-6 mil mark that is a crapload of money especially since its all sub fees. I find it a pretty honest and realistic thing to say with a 10 year old game. I broke down and resubbed for a bit I doubt it will be a long term thing but I have had enough fun with wow over the years to at least play through all the content in the expansion on release.Considering they are celebrating their 10th anniversary this year with over 6 mill subscribers is remarkable in itself. I don't blame him for being realistic, there is too much to do these days.
Very likely the case but even with that it still gets more money on a pretty consistent basis from a huge pool of users than free to play model games get so still works well for them and then they get probably at least 3million box sales every expansion. There can't be many "consistently" subscribed people, this game gets so stale-so quickly that it seems most people will sub on for a month or 3, then unsub for a couple months when theres new content, rinse and repeat.
