People seem to be coming back, at least on Blackhand-EU, had a queue this week (wednesday I think, which is our lockout reset in EU) for the first time in forever.
Isle of Giants is also seeing more traffic than the last few weeks (going for 9999 bones, I stop whenever I get an egg, so basically I visit every 3 days).
On the retarded ilvl requirements... yeah. People are stupid.
On a sidenote my main (warlock) is 563 without ever setting foot in anything higher than LFR. Those Ordos pieces (only missing shoulder) sure kick your ilvl up nicely.
Still can't get into SoO normal because people want you to have experience.
Going to have my 543 warrior tank gain a few ilvls and hope for a group that's desperate enough. Worked for flex Nazgrim when he was 523 or 518.
I could also inflate the ilvl a bit by sacrificing tanking stats but that would be really dumb. This is the problem I have with the ilvl attachment people have developed. My gear is enchanted and socketed in a way that's really useful. I'd rather have that than 10 more ilvls with useless stats.
Or maybe I'll just throw money at some group to finally be done with it. If next week someone asks for experience, I can say "Yeah I killed him alright, look at my armory."
Two people from my guild will come back after holidays are over, maybe another two come back for WoD, then we could at least run 5-mans by ourselves.

Cheers for the addon's link I will check them out, I have signed up for Open raid but I could not find any raids doing flex in my Ilvl range, I did only check once though so I will keep checking back more often.
Out of interest how easy is Flex? Never done it before is it pretty much LFR level but with less people?

Non-guild raiding can be the most infuriating thing. "To get in you must have an ilevel higher than the gear that drops and also have already killed everything."
I mean, I get it - they're people just looking to run through it without any learning, discussion, thought, etc. Just mindless "go kill dargunz". And this late in the expansion, they can be picky. The solution of course is either find a guild that's still raiding it, or start your own run.

I did try start my own run but people would look at my gear and no SoO achievement and just leave, never mind the Grand Crusader title I have, never mind the time stamps on all End game heroic boss kills achievement. "you don't have Garrosh Flex OMG you n00b bye" is what I normally get

I'd say I'm surprised, but I'd be lying! You won't be able to find enough people real-time that aren't overgeared just looking for other overgeared people to run it.
Start one on openraid.org, just do wing 1. Set a reasonable iLevel requirement (510 maybe?). Put links to videos/starts for the bosses. Require voice chat. Note that newbies are welcome, as long as they read up on the fights before-hand, but still go over strats before each fight in voice chat. Mention that it's your first time in the Flex version, but that you're not an idiot. Give it a week get invites, do it at a reasonable time (weekend/evening) and I assure you that you'll get enough people to run it that aren't snobby. Tanks/healers will probably be a problem though
.Basically, you have to start your own progression group hehe.

oQueue is fantastic. Can easily filter for raids that you qualify for. At your ilvl, that'll cut a lot of the raids out, but I've never waited longer than a minute before a Flex 1 comes up, and I can join it. Farm that to get 530+ and a lot more opens up.

This is like a timeless conversation. Open raid, oqueue, achievement faker, couple pieces from celestials, your cloak quest, then some Ordos pieces after cloak. There is crafted gear that is Face roll easy to farm the mats for. - and all this time you should still be actively looking for raids. It's easy to get 550 Ilvl. Achievement faker works 2 out of 3 times. They'll say they're going to check your armory but won't. You just linked them the chiev and that's good enough, much less do that many people know about faking them.
I imagine a bunch of people are going to come back within the next 2 months. Setting yourself up for success if you actually plan on playing WOD.
Oh and you can't save the 3k for the cloak ahead of time. I kept mine at 2500 so I would always upgrade one piece fully so I didn't waste points. But I also wanted to save that 2500 for any normal Ilvl pieces that I would pick up so I could max them out ASAP.

When did you guys slot the legendary meta gem and the +500 stat gem? Assuming you can't get those back, and just have to buy another one if you change gear? I'm not rolling in the money so I was trying to avoid having to waste those free ones I got.

Edit: The 500 stat gem isnt used later on. Waste of money. The Head Piece is still used up until the end, but you should be at least into flex by the time you have it. But I put it in everything. Its just too good to pass up at any moment. Will you really complain if you replace your helm that quick? hehe - Also, I dont know what server you're on but Farm Leather man.. Go out on Tiger Island between Timeless Isle and the Jungle, kill tigers for an hour and you should have plenty of money to do everything you need to do.
Also: thought this was cool.

Legendary meta went into my helm once I got a 528. I figure there are only 2 or 3 realistic upgrade available after that (ordos, celestials, flex). I ended up with the Flex set helm off of Thok and stuck a new lego meta in. Since I've got 4pc and ordos shoulders, I won't be upgrading for a long time. The 500stat isn't used, as it won't fit in SoO weapons.

That 500 stat gem only goes in the sha touched weapon from terrace so you may as well just destroy it if you have anything later on. The extra slot thing can go on a ToT weapon but not an SoO weapon.
The legendary gem isn't too bad to replace at 5 primal diamonds so it's not that big of a deal if you turn your helm over quickly. I still wouldn't stick it in anything less than an SoO LFR helm though.
