Plus it is something you won't see.. Normally and the story is semi decent... You should do it.. I thought basout not doing it for a while.. But decided against it. Been enjoying it ( minus the gay ass item drops ) so far.

I know it doesn't get much easier than paying, but if you're a decent tank or healer, it's not too hard to get into a 14/14 n pug group with as low as 550 ilevel. DPS is obviously way more competitive and you'll probably be ignored unless you're 560 or even 565. People even use the Blizzard raid finder (using the cross realm flex wings) to advertise that they're looking for garrosh/normal runs if you don't want to use openraid or oqueue.

Man.. they sure make young khadgar a total badass. I may actually pay attention to some of the quests involving him when the expac drops.
So far everything from textures, remodels, animations and spell effects make this game look a whooole lot better. They still need to fix a couple races though which are pretty FUBAR atm (draenei and night elves, probably others). I'm pretty stoked for it to drop now lol

That was my experience as dps. Up until 560 I couldn't get a decent garrosh to save my life, though I did it with my guild a few times prior. The very second I crossed the threshold into 560, that seemed to be the minimum people set on oqueue. By 570, every group I get into pretty much effortlessly melts him, because everyone just overgears and stomps him with pure damage.

From my experience, you could experience all of MoP in 4 months. Theyve shortened the Cloak Quest now, or will? Not sure, but that will cut down on that time a month to a month and a half. This is of course if you want to slam through Heroic SoO at a reasonable pace. The buffs that theyve put in place should make it achievable to a bigger audience than was doing it 7 months ago when I was playing full time.

Cloak 'shortening' will happen when 6.0 hits. They are removing valor, so the 3-Week (3000 Valor earned) gate is gone from the Legendary quest.
6.0 Live will also retire the rewards for the Challenge Mode dungeons, as well as the Ahead of the Curve: Garrosh achievement and the associated mount.
It will, however, make it so that your first kill of Garrosh is a 100% Heirloom drop. (No love if you have already have had one drop - 'Increased' drop rate, but that could be as little as 1% higher)

Wait... shouldn't Turalyon, Alleria and Lothar be in game too at that point? I guess it doesn't make sense how young Khadgar could be involved unless 'old' Azeroth is somehow involved with 'old' Draenor instead of just current Azeroth? Unless the dark portal is opening to 'old' Azeroth and this whole thing is basically a WoW version of ST: First Contact?

Currently I'm in some random guild just for perks, I haven't bothered looking for any at all since I'm not even 90. Not all that much worried about it yet, may not even be worried about it until the xpac. Either way, I am enjoying it. I am enjoying myself so far. Thanks to the island it is very easy to equip a character to be strong enough to raid. My wife is also coming back to play but she plays a healer. I will be helping her out a lot given that soloing as a healer is not fun. I am working on the cloak quest slowly as I work my way through all the raids on the LFR system. Only thing that bummed me out is the final Garosh fight. Nobody does the fight anymore and so the raid gets abandoned at that point. I am hoping to just try that again on a fresh Tuesday and maybe getting lucky.
I am actually looking forward to the expansion. Having taken such a long break from the game has allowed me to appreciate it more.

If you dont plan on raiding SoO, but plan to commit yourself in WoD to at least doing normal - try to find a guild that you can join casually right now. Im in Tiras with my Paladin (cause thats all Ive been playing lately) but theyre still raiding SoO and Im just not going to do it. Not because the gear will be replaced towards the end of the treadmill but because Im sick and tired of SoO.
