We're still raiding just so that we can figure out which of our new members drive us insane before we're actually stuck with them in WOD. Unfortunately, it turns out the healers we picked up are insufferable pricks, so that'll be interesting to replace.

On the plus side, I guess we've got like a month-long break from raiding when the expansion launches with the "Time to level up yo!" delay. Course, lord knows people are incompetent as hell and half the new raiders won't be properly geared when raid starts despite that extra delay on raid unlock.

Yea, I can see that. Though you gotta keep in mind that even if they are full time raiders, that they not necessarily going to devote the same amount of time into leveling up. Your roster is going to have a good chunk of new people if you are to start raiding as soon as you can. I often see the opposite of what you think would happen. (Replacing people is an entirely different issue)

Raiders either being Hard Core and being level 100 within a couple days - or your very best raiders taking two fucking weeks to get to 100 because they hate leveling so bad. I fall closer to the HC Raiders cause I want to know how Diablo comes through the Dark Portal and saves the Orcs from the Zerg with quirky anecdotes from Three Vikings.

They're working on Titan, it's an FMVMMO with tons of quick time sequences.

Those videos arent by the same team. Its some off shoot effort to get people active in the lore of WoW, as laughable as that is. I think theyre neat for the small amount of time they probably spend to make those videos.

The leaked videos on Reddit of the CGI scenes from WoD are pretty f'n epic, still. No idea whats going on in it, but its really perty.

They're just lore videos, they're not really made to be these big epics as blizzard usually does. I actually really like the style of them though.

The more I think about the WoD story the less exciting it seems. The entire thing seems like it could be one CoT dungeon.

TBC - Dark Portal reopens, undoing the valiant sacrifice of some of Azeroth's greatest heroes and threatening a massive Legion invasion.
WotLK - The Lich King finally makes his move, threatening to overwhelm the planet with undeath.
Cata - Death Wing finally launches his apocalyptic and mad bid to destroy that which he used to protect.
MoP - The island of Pandaria sets the stage for a brutal horde/alliance war only to find that an ancient evil empire emerges to threaten the world once again.
WoD - Garrosh McFly goes back in time to an alternate dimension to give the Goblin Engineering Almanac to his dad so that they can find a way to make the old horde differently this time and then invade Azeroth just like before.

Hmmm...

Oh dont worry ~ You're not alone in thinking that they definitely could have came up with a better story than what we're presently presented with.

I honestly think they really just wanted a total redo of Outlands - but knew people would have a sandy vagina about losing a dungeon or raid that they havent been in for years. Or maybe way back when they redid classic zones they started on an Outlands revamp and it didnt get finished in time for Cata launch - so they put the current assets on the back burner and somewhere along the way, they decided to use those assets to make an entire expansion.

Finally got Garosh down on normal. Can we say cutting it close to my Kokron Mount. All this while doing land grab and and farmville 2.0 in archeage. I'm some sort of MMO god.

There is still an outlands that never changes. I was only theory crafting on why they would pick such a lack luster story that comes straight out of left field. Especially when there are so many more compelling things to do an expansion on.
