- Wrathion is now an Enemy of the State in Azeroth, and is running for his life. His ultimate goal appears to be to unite the Horde and Alliance together, by creating an enemy that is too powerful to take on alone.
Because Illidan/Lich King/Fucking Deathwing and a bunch of Old motherfucking bastard rapist gods were not enough? Do we still have to fight over the lumbermill, the farm and that shit?
Sorry, it's bullshit and it's the biggest fucking bullshit ever created in the whole world. There is no reason to keep the war going, except it's artificial and supposedly good for gameplay (which would mean world PvP, which means it's bullshit because there is no such thing as world pvp since 2005 or thereabout).

Wrynn is an idiot, but Thrall surpassed him by miles when Garrosh took his place as Warchief and he did nothing (yeah yeah, busy, maelstrom, deathwing, bullshit). Cairne was killed and he did nothing. Vol'Jinn is useful like a third nipple and a troll as horde leader just doesn't make any fucking sense.

On the Isle of Thunder the blood elf Lord and Jaina came to terms and it was clear that they had a common enemy and were also asking themselves "why the fuck are we even threatening each other?".
Despite Theramore, Jaina still has a piece of brain left and she is a friend of Thrall too. Wrynn is no longer the retarded warmonger he was at the beginning of WotLK. With Garrosh out of the way, there is no reason why the Alliance and the Horde cannot form a single united force, except for Blizzard. I'll wait for their (retarded) excuse to push each other towards another war, despite common and stupidly powetrful enemies are threatening the existance of the whole Azeroth (yeah, Stables, Farm, Lumbermill, Mine and Blacksmith, the 5 reasons, oh the lulz).

Joining the two sides into a single faction will be a final hail mary expansion feature years from now when WoW is seriously suffering in sub numbers. They won't blow that anytime soon just because of lore.

With the reduction in abilities for every class, which DPS classes and specs in WoD are going to have enough reactive ability procs OR have a semi-complex skill rotation so that combat isn't boring? For example, in MoP a Protection warrior has reactive ability procs like Sword and Board, Revenge, Ultimatum, Victory Rush and Execute. There are also multiple defensive cooldowns to choose from. Adding in the taunt, charge, shouts and offensive attacks, there are always a variety of abilities to choose from on a regular basis.

In WoD which DPS classes/specs will have a similar variety of combat options? I have a destro warlock and enhancement shaman and it seems to me neither have the complexity/variety of gameplay options available to them like the Prot warrior does.

I haven't tried all of the classes obviously, but warlock was pretty much the exact same shit as they are in MoP.. which is why i dropped mine for my ret paladin again. If you want reactive skills they have both procs for exorcism as well as divine storm in WoD so far. I think their tier 17 opens up hammer of wrath as a random proc as well.

Item - Paladin T17 Retribution 4P Bonus: Hammer of Wrath causes your next Exorcism to generate 3 Holy Power.
Item - Paladin T17 Retribution 2P Bonus: Spending Holy Power has a 30% chance to allow the use of Hammer of Wrath regardless of your target's current health.

But you press a LOT of flashing buttons to do that smaller percentage, yo.

I find it hilarious that the pet is like 5% of Unholy DK's DPS in WoD, but is the spec's entire mechanical "thing", with the building stacks/consumption being their only real mechanic.

It's by design, because PVP. Lower damage on every skill to reduce burst = autoattack becomes a larger chunk of your dps. It also reduces the skill gap by making perfect rotations matter significantly less.

^ I'd say I'm with you except I missed an entire expansion of lore, shit
Someone finds pandaria somehow. You jump on a flying boat to go there. The guys that you aren't shoots down your flying boat. You meet an evil spirit ghost who has a melty face. You run around for 5 levels. Eventually Garrosh gets a bunch of facial piercings and decides to unite the Aryan race. You crush him in a mostly boring fight and then apparently someone writes a readontheshitter pulp novel where you don't actually get to beat him because he has time travel. Welp that about wraps it up. Also there was bug people who seemed kinda cool.

Well, you do beat him in the novel. It's just that Varian shows up and decides to take him prisoner for judgement instead of executing on the spot.

I bet he's a bit pissed at not taking the easy option now (or rather, in november).

There's also the part where Anduin Wrynn more or less single-handedly reignites the war between the Horde and Alliance because he wanted to go see the pretty panda bears instead of getting back on the damn boat, and then spends the entire expansion complaining that everyone is too violent and why can't we all just get along and why doesn't anyone ever listen to meeeee?

Apparently crafting perks are gone in WoD. The +320 is the MoP bonus. This is what I read, don't think it's been changed.
Yeah, the crafting perks are gone. Also the actual crafting professions have absolutely ridiculous material requirements to both make armor and to actually learn the armor. Inscriptors, for example, need400herbs per set of 20-hour cooldowns (200 for their personal cooldown and 200 for a work order) in order to advance their skill. Other professions have similar requirements, it's insane. With no flying a large portion of the people that would otherwise do gathering won't anymore. You're going to see herb prices along the lines of 1000g/stack if they don't change something, and having herbalism to farm your own mats is going to be mandatory to raid at all.

wait what, why??

Are they actually making crafting useful but harder then if they're making them such a hassle to actually produce items?
