Have you just tried emailing support and pleading your case? It's possible that a support guy could escalate that to someone able to make a decision like that.
I can tell you that high end mistweavers avoid spirit like the plague, so I don't think mana will be much of an issue for you. But while gearing up, I do like having more mana regen as fights tend to take fucking ages (if you pug flex / lfr / normals)

I played my Monk as a Mistweaver and while mana was something of an issue early on in levelling it quickly stopped being so in heroic+ gear. Whenever I feel like I'm running low on mana I have Manatea I can chug and that gets me right back in the thick of things. It may have helped, also, that I stopped trying to play the Mistweaver like a different healing class and embraced the quirks of it.
Throughout Cata and Mists they changed their design philosophy on mana to be more of a quickly-recharging resource for dps casters and a long-term efficiency measuring stick for healers. So yeah, unless you're doing your rotation wrong you should never have to worry about mana as a dps class. Even if you do run out somehow, most have one or more massive mana recouping abilities to get back in the game.
Anything but warriors.. Tanks are covered.. May need a healer or two, DPS for sure, Kinda wide open at the moment Not a guild that just invites everything and anything but we are in the infancy period so we need core members.. Play what you like ( besides warriors )
