If you want a foolproof method for forming a quality pug to kill normal Garrosh, require the Proving Grounds: Endless 30 achievement for each player's respective role to join group.

Of course, that requires you find patient people as filling a 10 man that all have this will take hours.

Coming back to play recently - I can believe it. Finding a group that isnt fucking retarded is pretty rare. I actually feel sorry for people actively trying to gear a character right now without some sort of guild help. Only a theory, but I think most of your skilled players have left for the gap in content and are waiting on 6.0 at earliest to get things rolling again. So.. that means we're kind of stuck with a skewed ratio towards players that even struggle in Flex.
During the peak of summer it was great. Since school started back everything has just crashed. Especially my server economy. Damn, it happened basically overnight when September rolled in.

About how much dps should a brand new 90 retadin be doing?
I can pull about 45k ish but I don't even have ret pants/rings or a level 90 weapon lmao. I leveled this character to play heals only but fuck it, need some time to kill with all my raids on timelock

The good news is I can keep my loot priority to ret now onalmosteverything. Until I can get into a SOO, which I should be able to by the end of the week.

Noxxic gives you a rough idea of where you should be for a given ilevel, but understand that weapons (highest ilevel) and trinkets (the right ones ie galakras and thok trinkets) are going to have a huge impact on your DPS potential. The galakras trinket is BiS regardless of tier (LFR, etc)

Oh well I am apparently in the sad zone, but I'm not THAT far off considering a few of my pieces don't even have STR on them, lmao. I'm also not raiding as ret so it doesn't entirely matter, I just wanted to be in a general non shit-tier ballpark. Got a lil bit of work to do.

Ret seems to be one of those classes that will put out absolute shit damage until they get a good weapon, trinkets and a decent amount of gear.. then they'll start getting up there. It sucks but it's only LFR so who cares lol

Right? haha. I just really need me a better weapon. Got a 5man heroic one but it ain't cuttin' it
That said, as for holy I came from 493 to 503 ilvl this morning and that's only on half of SoO, still have the last two lfrs to do + whatever else I have this week that I need to look into. It's amazing how quickly mana becomes obsolete and I don't even pay attention to it anymore. Glad they're changing it in WoD cause this shit is bananas

So due to having a kid, work and overall shrinking play time I need some strategies on making money in the AH. I have about 100k right now and downloaded acutioneer but haven't really used it.

Outside of "buy low sell high" does anyone have either a guide to auctioneer or how they use it to make some extra cash?

It's not a great idea to try and make money right now - the pre-expansion patch goes live in a couple of weeks with WoD a month after that so pricing is...volatile. I'd say run auctioneer for a week then just watch out for real bargains (i.e. selling for 10% of value or whatever).

If you want to play a long game, MoP tradeskill items are going to be cheap now and for the next few months but willeventuallystart going back up again so buy now, sell in six months.

Jay Wilson touched the expension.

''Warlords of Draenor Credits - Jay Wilson Working on WoW
The Warlords of Draenor credits are here!

You can see that Jay Wilson is now listed as a Designer now, rather than just being on the strike team like he was for Mists of Pandaria. You may remember that he stepped down as Game Director of Diablo III in January 2013.''

I don't mind JW. However those credits also list Greg Street and Rob Pardo, so who knows if he is currently still working on it, or working on something else.

As far as I know, Tom Chilton (Kalgan) is still the game director for WoW. This shouldn't change anything.

ALSO ALSO.

Tigole 4 prez, telling guilds that can't do bugged content that they should get good. Hell ye.

Jay Wilson definitely left his shitstain on Diablo so it's slightly terrifying. Almost immediately after he "left" the game, it got about twice as good. Granted, I say that but what I actually mean is it got to the point that it should have been at launch.

Are there any old world herbs/ore in demand that I could farm for gold?
If you are keen on farming, and not playing the auction house there are multiple methods with minimum time investment that you can make gold. I've successfully used all of these methods a few times each and can give you more details if you want to PM me. Prices dependent on server.

Selling profession Kits:
Engineering 1-600 kit - 5-6 hours of Mining/cloth gathering, 6-12k profit. (Requires Mining)
Tailoring 1-600 kit- 8-10 hours of Cloth Gathering, 6-15k profit. (Requires a Tailor, and gear speeds up the process.)
Leather Working 1-600 kit- 4-6 hours of Leather Farming 6-12k profit (Requires skinning, and gear speeds up the process.)

Potion of Treasure Finding Farming:
Best classes for this are Destruction Warlock and Boomkin, other classes/specs can work but are much less efficient. Requires Tailoring, and possibly another profession for maximizing profit. 1 hour of farming can net 4-12k gold depending on your server. Minimum gear requirement for efficiency is probably about 522, but anything 550 or higher is preferred.

Leather Working Minimal Effort:
If you have the leather working profession and use the Halfhill Farm in MoP you can make leg kits for players that can sell upwards of 500g a piece. I have 2 leather workers and make 800-1200g a day for about 10 minutes of effort. 5600-8400g a week for a little over an hour of total work.

I've used all of the above methods to get all of my 90's geared (to many), their professions leveled, and a decent sized pile of gold for when WoD hits so I won't have to worry about sustaining my characters. With maybe 30 hours of total farming. Again if you are curious about the details of any of the above methods or have any questions feel free to PM me.

Looking for some people to play with on a different server. Tried khaz modan but I never see you guys on so i'm going to try Illidan H unless anyone has a guild that needs a war or healer type.

Taking a break from Destiny for an evening I was mucking around in WoD with my Mistweaver and things are definitely a lot different.

Building Chi is much more controlled, but also much more annoying if you had been used to channeling Soothing Mist as a primary means to generate Chi since Chi only comes from Renewing and Surging mist now. The longer GCD is not too terrible, but is definitely noticeable if you are trying to do some heavy HoT stacking or keep the group healed. Group healing mechanisms for the Mistweaver are now somewhat terrible given that you either have to have everyone close together or rely on Renewing Mist and then Uplift. The Mistweaver Mastery is still just plain garbage. No one ever uses the Orbs and Detonate Chi is clunky at best. I have no idea why they are so incredibly keen on this Healing Orb business but it really is frustrating.
