My buddy had the same issue and it turned out he had to go to Blasted Lands and do the Iron horde quests or some shit.

Is it worth it to get your professions as high level as possible before WoD hits? I saw this (from that GGG's garrison guide)http://www.wowhead.com/guide=2478/wa...eling-catch-upand was curious if we should just wait and do these to catch up the profession.

Everyone I've seen talk about profession catch-up on reddit and elsewhere has said that the drops are too rare to count on for quick profession leveling. You can level from 1-700 on WoD recipes if you really want to, but I suspect this will be a terrible idea. Probably not as retarded as having to collect more than 10000 ghost iron ore to level BS from 1-600, but it's almost certainly still going to be worse than just doing it the old way.

I finally got a response from them , and the jerk off says i gave you a free boost and that was it. No sorry that you had to wait. The fuck , but one thing that didnt work was that i didnt get the profession boost...like with shaman i should of gotten lw/skinng but nothing was given. So my professions show i have learned nothing. From their FAQ says if you are under 60 with no profession those 2 get boosted to max per class. Sigh , well i find enhancement shaman boring as shit. Guess I can make him a healer been some time since i played one.

You only get max boosted profs if you're 60+, if you don't have any profs at 60+ then they automatically assign you them. If you're under 60 then you don't get anything other than the boost.

If the character you choose to boost is not at least level 60, their professions will not be leveled up.

I've forgotten how many blank-minded idgits there are in WoW. Well, they are in every game, but for some reason, they really stand out in WoW. I bought a heroic Garry run, and one guy did nothing but bitch the whole time about trivial shit. Then, another knuckle-dragger whined about his friends not getting in for free. Then our new zit-licker tank didn't like the fact that there were five carries and pulled Garry before the raid was ready. Dumb stuff...not a big deal, really, but jeez...some people clearly didn't get enough tit after they were born. New raiders poured in as replacements, and most of these fuckers were 570+. Garry melted like a stick of butter in Lindsay Lohan's poop launcher.

I got a happy new bow to replace the one I had with 5lb draw.

Also, I followed some of the ideas about grinding out gold some people posted here. Made about 5k in 3 hours as a L90 newb...not bad shakes. I'll be able to waddle into WoD with 20k in Garrison money.

Looked back at my screenshots folder, the last time I raided was in WOTLK. Time flies.

I might dig out my L90 DK and get everything sorted for tanking...no idea where to start in terms of spec/whatever.

My DK is an alt, so I can't offer pro-suggestions. What I know is that post patch you don't have heart strike anymore, you just use Blood Boil, Rune Strike is also gone and you use Death Coil in its place. Death strike is still awesome and Death and Decay is currently useless in terms of threat per rune spent compared to Blood Boil, it can still have its use, to pickup a stream of adds maybe.
What will feel odd is the lack of buttons to push. Talents are situational, learn to use rune tap maybe.

Blood DK is still a beast, that I know, but all tanks are still quite good, not vengeance-good, but good nonetheless. With Resolve you can land some pretty impressive Death Strikes still.

On a different topic: I'm still getting accustomed to this new Mistweaver shit stance swapping. I can't fucking understand why it was even introduced in the first place, if I could have a wow-wish, it would be to get back my old Mistweaver. Yeah ok, I can still kill shit solo with the melee stance, but if I need to grind stuff I just play Windwalker. I like the fact they removed the possibility to pick a wrong stance for BM and WW and went all the way to add a stance to a healer class, they said themselves that Chakras were shit-stained mistakes for Holy Priests and reworked them, they had to put the crap somewhere I guess, maybe the MW is the new garbage bin of the healers: since it wasn't really good before in raids they thought they could use it as an experiment lab. I can't find any other logical explanation.

You know, it's like having someone use a legendary metagem proc to land a couple jabs and palms sent people crazy in Blizz's office. Ahhh whatever. I'll get over it, but I still hate it, it takes the crown as the stupidest change in 6.0 for me.
Also scaling for heals is totally borked. Enveloping mist is almost pointless, Uplift is shit at the Nth power, with a cast time it pretty much became the shittiest AE heal of all times in all MMO games. Not only it's tied to a random bouncing hot (that I can't renew with the thunder tea anymore, thanks assholes), but it heals for so little and it feels so clunky, that I'd rather Spinning Crane Kick all day (with the RJW talent) and spam Surging instead.

It feels like healing is borked overall no matter the class to me. But I know they wanted to make healing.. significantly less powerful compared to the state it was in, and I'm fine with that sure whatever. The problem is when more people than just the tank take damage and expect to be healed through it like they have been been able to do for the last 2 expansions. Shits gonna suck for a while until either everyone learned to not be shit (not gonna happen) or healers are wearing tier sets. guhhhhh

I feel like you deserve a pic. Taken on shitty settings at work but whatever. The sword mog is "The Willbreaker" off some guy from a Hellfire dungeon and it's originally a caster sword, but as a knight of the light I found it fitting. Or something.

I dig it. I've always enjoyed that set a bit, I wish they'd make plate be more than 2 colors. I'm currently rocking a weird level 60 warrior looking paladin, haha. I didn't want to use judgement or all gold because every other paladin does that?

I want to build a more lore-based sunwalker tauren set but there aren't very many tribal looking plate pieces at the moment.

Enhancement shamans AOE DPS is crazy at the moment. My guild's raiding group carried me thru a heroic full clear of SoO yesterday. My gear was level 530 at the start and the lowest of anyone in the raid. We had 25 people and going into the Garrosh encounter I was ranked 20th on the Total Damage Done count. Only people lower than me were the healers. After Garrosh was dead I was at #5 and that was 100% the result of Fire Nova with Echo of the Elements procs during Phase 1. I guess someone at Blizzard figured it out because someone in guild chat said Fire Nova is getting nerfed to hit a max of 7 targets. Oh well was fun while it lasted.

Even at max 7 targets I think the damage will still be pretty damn amazing but yes the double bang echo of elements fire nova silliness at the moment is giggle inducing.

Since Echo of the Elements can proc off Fire Nova, on one occasion I was able to chain cast 4 Fire Novas in a row.

Or very nice for casual players who play sporadically. Is it necessary for somebody who plays most nights no and with from what I am seeing at the end of beta its less necessary than it maybe once was earlier in beta but still nice to have for folks with only one crafting skill or who do not play consistently to keep things cranking in your absence.

Yup and if the moons align you could in theory keep rolling it. As hilarious as it is now the 7 target max is probably needed for sanity sake so we don't get hit by a nerf wrecking ball in other places.

They really need to fix the ridiculous disparity between cleaves and aoes. If you have a 3-5 target cleave you are a god in dungeons and many raid encounters, but if all you have is your uncapped aoe then most of the time you need 7-10+ targets to even make it DPS neutral. AOEs should be a dps gain to 3 or so targets and then less damage per target with the more targets you hit. And wide-range aoe's could have damage dropoff beyond a certain range. That would be better than the current model of watching a handful of cleaving classes do all of the aoeing while the rest ignore adds because it's a net loss. Meanwhile, the adds are dying slow as hell because sorry, there's only 5 of them and my dps already looks like shit compared to joe "cleave is my rotation" over there. Didn't they try something like this with a specific spell (blast wave?) at one point? Before they just threw up their hands and nerfed all uncapped AOE's into the holy-dogshit category they are in now?

If they try to balance around these cleaves you wind up with things like combat being dogshit in 70% of fights but total godmode in the others. Until eventually the right trinket comes along and suddenly combat is the best all the time, heh.

At least as Marks I can barrage and look awesome every 30(?) sec I guess.
