I think we're unquestionably into worst launch to date territory. Logged my wife's account in at 3:30 eastern to get a "head start" while she was out....about to be 6 hours later and it's barely under 2000. Stormrage isfucked.

At this point can't they just find a way to let us play while they un-fuck the high pop servers? I don't care what server I am on...just put me *somewhere* and record my progress. Even some derelict RP server with 14 people playing. Put me back on Stormrage when possible, I totally don't care. Just mind numbing to be sitting in these 6-8 hour queues to play a video game...absolutely unreal.

Logged into Stormrage at 3:30 as well 1600 left in que, still a good 4 hours left. My wife just joined the queue at 10:00 pm and its 6k+ on SR.

Its definitely bordering on ridiculous that you have to wait 12 hours to play a game. I mean they give you such a small window that oh well you got in, but you "weren't there" back to the line with you that you have to hope and pray you are around your computer when the queue does pop that you don't miss it and miss your chance to play for theDAY

If you have the option of migrating to a smaller realm and can do it without fucking yourself over, I can definitely recommend it. I barely got to play for the first 48 hours, then I took the free migration to one of the two servers it offered and it has been 99% problem free since. No queues, almost no lag (a small spike every other hour in the busier part of the day), and garrisons have been down once in the last two days. I guess some people can't do this because they have to stay with their guild/friends or have too many characters to feasibly transfer back at a later date at ?20 per, but if those aren't problems for you, definitely consider migration.

Good to know, thanks. Seems the best way to take advantage of this is to assign them before you log off. Especially if you won't play until late the next day.. big boost to work orders.

Also, all I fucking cast is murder of crows and barrage. It doesn't even matter what spec I play. MOC is insane for leveling.

Yup. Two hours into the Proudmoore queue and I still sat at 3000 to go, estimated time was around 800 minutes. I gave up. Fuck Blizzard, at this rate I may get to play Tuesday but I'll be damned I'm wasting time at the queue screen.

That's such shit. People in guild are justifying this based on DDoS and people coming back playing the game yet over half our guild can't even log on since Friday morning lol. We all gave up.

He should have said that he is putting a limit on the number of people that can access the subreddit and everyone is now in a 3000 person queue. Everyone seems to drink in that flavor of jizz just fine.

So the "character not found" thing was actually an account server completely crashing. If you got in by hammering, you got in when it was on its last legs.

Also, regret going barn first. Tradingpost/lumber mill would have helped out more in this stage. (leaning Trading post, thoughts?)

I absolutely love trade post - I'm power leveling my inscription by buying herbs from it.

conversely if you have enough gold laying around you can buy whatever mat you need to for the work orders to get Garrison resources. It's my cup of tea baby.

Auction NPC + rep unlocks is just a boost from GR:MAT converter npc.

**pro tip: apparently you can buy TP workorder mats with GR and still come out net positive with GR after the workorders complete** Passive GR gain seems cool

Hate when I get stuck for a while in a quest chain with no flight paths and all my shit to turn in. I have garrison OCD for sure. Luckily work orders are queued days ahead but follower quests are still a big deal at this stage. My assumption is those slow down / become much longer missions later on, so you aren't constantly fiddling with the thing.

This is the best way I can think of to sum it up: Garrisons feel like something that should have been in WoW years ago. It's a great fit.

Here's where I'm fucking up: Gorgrond flytraps to do my lw daily. How the fuck do I get those? Herb garden no help so far. Should I just AH?
