Depends on the zone you get... Yesterday I got the plant zone and said fuck it 5 minutes in, huge mob density and they were annoying as fuck to kill.
Today I got Darktide Roost, and it was okay, grouped with a dude that was there and it took maybe 15/20 minutes top.

Were you doing it right? You go to the area, fish in the correct spot to get the fish you need, and you should get a XXX bait within the first few casts. Apply that bait to your pole and from then on you will get the fish you need about 90% of the time. I did it in less than 10 minutes even at ~400 skill which meant I could only catch small and medium fish.
P.S. I don't recommend trying to fish up blind lake sturgeon in your garrison (alliance) unless you already have a bait on you. You can catch pretty much any bait in the garrison pool so it can take forever to get the right one. Instead I rode out due south to the lake there and got a bait within a couple minutes, then about 7-8 minutes to fish up 20 small and 10 medium fish and it was done.

Yea that might have been my sentiment had it been like ... oh look Khadgar found Alleria Windrunner and mother truckin' Turalyon let's burn this bitch to the ground... but Thrall has been emasculated and irrelevant for awhile now, Khadgar's combat capabilities were previously limited to summoning 30 minute escort quests and the rest of them are random secondaries... Hansel Heavyhands? Seriously? Did heeverdo anything but the dumb Incendosaur quest forever ago?
It just wasn't a well told story. The orcs were comically inept and inept foes posing no threat doesn't make for a deep challenge. They weren't even regular mobs, my dinky alt at 530 ilvl was completely unstoppable that whole initial Tanaan story.
*yawn* is all I have to say.
Story/Lore/Quest wise is part of my grip is how we're going into this World (Draenor) and pretty much EXTERMINATE everything in sight. 'Kill 10 spores, or bats, or wolves, or xyz' It's the same quest type over and over; and while I understand it's mostly for 'fodder' and not every quest can be an epic storyline it feels like I'm fucking exterminating the whole planet from the moment I set foot in it. Feel like it's the equivalent of handing out small pox blankets to the natives.

Why was Blades Edge called Blades Edge in Warcraft 2 if it was Gorgrond until Frostfire Ridge apparently fell on top of it? Why is Gorgrond another fucking annoying jungle (Hellfire Peninsula is a jungle too?), it quite clearly had Terrokar Forest style trees in Burning Crusade... did Arrakoa exiles plant them? I hope Mok'Nathal village is in that one zone I didn't explore... Rexxar didn't speak is he Rexxar A or Rexxar B? No signs of Blackrock Clan anywhere in Burning Crusade, did their settlements get burned away? But then why were the Thurderlord ruins in Blade Edge in Burning Crusade but in I assume Frostfire in Warlords of Draenor? The ogre town from Burning Crusade was there though and in HD but the canyon was about 1/3 of the depth. Was the other 2/3 the remains of Frostfire slammed on top?
Did they put all those Fairy Dragons in the Burning Crusade Netherdragon area of Shadowmoon thinking that the Nether Dragons were Fairy Dragons? Fairy Dragons are Night Elf Azeroth things and Netherdragons were warped good Black Dragons from Azeroth. WHY ARE THERE ANY TYPE OF DRAGONS THERE!? Exactly where in Black Temple where the amphitheatre and entrance stairs? How did they build a memorial to Velen so quickly? Why is the Lich King's wife alive and one of my fucking followers when her death was how Kil'Jaeden got at him and therefore to his apprentice Gul'Dan?
