DK is usual OP for leveling, rare killing, and dungeon tanking. I use Blood for open world / dungeon and I can literally do anything. The only difference difficulty makes is how many cooldowns I need to use and what presence I am in. Blood Spec + Unholy Presence made for really effective leveling via Dark Succor and extra run speed. A+ would play again.
My mage on the other hand was mostly timeless gear rather than LFR SoO / TOT like my DK. Kill speed was alright, but I felt very vulnerable open world. I gave up after an hour or so as I lost interest. I can't imagine soloing some of the latter zones unless damage goes through the roof. Seems like it could be painfully slow / dangerous.
My druid was somewhere in between the two. I tried feral and balance leveling. Balance was ridiculous via Starfall. Druid was formerly my main so Flex SoO healing gear turned into pretty decent balance gear. Stopped druid at 93 when I was going to spec guardian because, at that point, may as well play my DK.
Thanks, appreciate the advice. Do Mages still have the pain of having to constantly cast buffs and/or buffs on the ground and stand in them etc ?

I'm really really enjoying glad. Didn't do enough research on it prior to going that route, so almost none of my gear save the epic ring has bonus armor on it - I don't know that it does better dps than when I'm fury (as I have more gear appropriate to that spec), but its a fuck-ton more fun than both fury and arms. I also like the aesthetic of the class as well and think I'll stick with it going forward. Plus, its always nice to be able to off tank shit in tough heroics if the need arises.

Plus when they finally puss out of the can't change into/from glad stance in combat its going to be the ultimate hybrid spec.

Glad is better than fury unless it is a consistent aoe fight...and even then, with the cleave glyph I am usually neck and neck on AoE fights. Single target glad wrecks arms and fury. The really nice thing is that since I'm prot MS, I don't have to gather up all this other bullshit loot if I feel like not taking 30 years to kill mobs when not raiding. Granted, it's way better than it used to be with vengeance since you didn't get fuck all for vengeance outside of raids, but it still goes a lot quicker when you can pull 15 mobs in glad and destroy them in 30 seconds.
Make sure you guys are getting the level 2 inn and recruiting followers with the scavenger perk too. They'll reward up to 3x the amount of garrison resources on resource missions.

Got only two.
They are so useful, because they get a second ability, so they can counter two threats each in missions.
Main, 2-3 epic 2-3 blue out of 18.
