Did the normal raid last night and was surprised by how well I was doing DPS wise as an Arcane Mage. I had been assuming that I was terrible based on all the things I read about specs and whatnot and yet I was topping the charts without even going hog-wild on raid buffs...

Now the challenge is to find quality PUG raids :-/

@US Horde if anyone has Drov spawning on their server I need please, was on friends this AM but rolling restart got me before work. We have Talnra up on Hyjal if you need from a Drov server. Luxury#1795

I'm kinda sad at how easy the heroics feel at 620 iLvl, but on the other hand, I'm not sure if I have the patience to return to the TBC-era of hand-crafting my party via tells and friends list... knowing that any stranger exponentially increases average duration time. At least now its tuned to where I can feel like playing well (as a tank) is rewarded and that I have the tools to carry an inept group.

For healers get something like the old decursive and its pretty easy to get silver. I was having a bit of mana issues with gold simply because there is no downtime to drink and I was running boomkin gear and not healer gear. That said it really is pretty good practice for dungeon running because its like one derp fight after another with people standing in fire and learning to deal with it.

So is resto druid a lot of fun these days? I considered playing my old BC main druid but I absolutely hate Tauren. Trolls, Orcs or NOTHING I SAY.

Depends on the person, i never found it all that interesting to slap rejuv, mushrooms on the ground and wild growth on cooldown lol
Then again others have no interest in mistweaving either.

If you liked them back in TBC, you'll probably like them more now that they have even more utility.

I'm enjoying disc priest now, but I basically have 3 options for my alt. DK (because I want to tank), Monk, OR Druid. I don't even want to touch my WOTLK Shaman or Warlock.

Seeing the druid in S3.. or S2 Arena gear is funny to me too.

Druid is probably out of the picture since I would be forced to race change before I played him... Tauren. Just, ungh. I don't know how I played him at all back in 2007.

But all in all, I will slowly be leveling a few I guess. Back to my old habits...

I'm leveling up a healing monk, although it is painful. I'm not sure if it is a L2P issue, but since I've been in talador the mobs can wreck me.

are you fistweaving while leveling? i couldn't do that at all lol.. I ended up going WW, then just changed my loot spec to mistweaver when i got to nagrand.

DK is in +40% heirlooms. Is dungeon spam highly effective for poopsock leveling up to like... 85 or whatever?

Resto druids are in a good place. They have both good single target healing and good raid healing as well as high mobility and a fair amount of oh crap buttons to help fix sudden issues. Add in instant cast battle rez to full health they are in a good place at the moment. I took the level 100 talent that lets you apply two rejuves to a single target combined with lifebloom that is an awful lot of healing cushion on a target and if needed you can hit genesis for a big healing hit.
