Garrison invasion rewards are once per week I take it? Didn't realize we'd done the Shadowmoon invasion just after the reset last week (2 players, 10 points from gold) and then we were so confused when we did it last night (3 player, got gold) and only the guy who's never done an invasion got a reward.

You can only get rewards once a week from garrison invasions.

Seems unlikely, unless the BM change is beefier than it looks (only an updated sim or real world parsing can really tell) They inadvertently nerfed BM when they lowered kill shot damage to poop on MM.

Surv buff is ~5% and it will continue to suck because there isn't enough MS on gear.

Not in LFR, haha.

If I joined a Normal/Heroic raiding group, I'd probably try to perfect it on our progression targets, but probably not worry about it on farm targets.

Thanks to non-reforging and overall crappy itemization versus customization from tradeskill items I only have one actual item that is an upgrade for me that comes from LFR...and its off Mar'gok who wont be available for nearly another month. Bleh

Unfortunately this is the real problem. SV hates haste, and the current raid gear is loaded with it. That said, SV is simming ahead of MM right now. Guess I'll switch to it and see how it does in LFR. I'd dance a fucking jig if I could use a spec that doesn't have to stand still but still keeps Lone Wolf. Edit: Bleah, Focusing Shot is apparently the best in all situations now. Still better than Sniper Training bullshit, and I guess I can live with having a pet out again.

And at least the hotfix buffed the 630 mission (turbulent) trinkets today so that they're finally better than the 615's.

Sweet it feels really strange raiding with twin 615 ilevel trinkets because they were WAY better than my 630 ones

What are you doing during DP if you aren't dot weaving? (which is what I assume is putting up dots during DP & mind flaying). Or do you just mind flay with insanity and not worry about the other dots.

Personally I've just been doing normal old dots + mind flay with mind blast being my #1 priority spell after sw:death. Pretty much always right at the same dps or above the other SP I raid with that's doing the nuke spec. I just like the feel of playing dots & flay I guess.

Where did they mention the trinket fixes? Just used a 630 one and it is still worse than a 615 (Blood DK, 615 138 armor + versa proc, 630 106 armor + haste use).

Relog if you haven't done so since the hotfix applied. It's not in the hotfix notes, but my 630's are now 159 bonus armor and 159 strength respectively. On-use effects are unchanged, still 1060 MS/haste.

Got rather lucky on the my 645 mission trinket on my warr : 183 bonus armor, 183 crit, no proc, no on use. Just yummy stats.

Relogged no change. I get them pretty regularly though, hopefully my next one is fixed =p

Careful now, some fat fuck neck beard is running around doling out negs for suggesting we bring back reforging. Makes no sense for them to remove from the game, other than to arbitrarily make content last longer (so you're looking for that "bis" trinket/cloak/etc). Hopefully the shitty itemization gets better in the next raid tier - I think someone alluded to HM being the MV of this xpac, which makes sense.

Yea you can get a decent amount of MS if you stack enchants etc, still seems it can go MM higher depending on gear. Not sure how I feel about FS, if it was EA I would be all over it. I guess I have to give it a shot but I liked Marks playstyle (just not sniper training so much). I am interested to see how Surv comes out on effective dps (no cooldowns, no burst, no executes).

Yeah man! 1% dmg per slot is GREAT! fill up 10 slots and you do 10% more damage! It's basically a free 4 peice pvp set bonus at the cost of 30-40% mastery.
