I've been using 900 GR instead of 1500 gold per week on seals since forever. Apexis grind became unbearable after 2 weeks, and fuck pvp.
do events in ashran to cap conquest, spend honor gained on seals
$$$

Fuck da police.

Last time I tried Ashran I was sitting in queue for over an hour until giving up. Has it gotten better?

Also apexis you can knock out in like 15 minutes. Just pick the group event, use LFG tool and do it in 10 minutes. Pretty easy. I usually do apexis + GR then get my free seal from mill.

I buy the bottom gold, GR and apexis one. With GR losing value, I might just buy all 3 with GR now.

I used to do apexis, apexis, GR. I have a hard time converting 500g into a seal which will net me 20g most of the time.

Ashran queue is still a pile of shit, they're changing it to be regional like battlegrounds are in 6.1, but that will probably just kill ashran completely for some battlegroups that have heavy population imbalances.
The only time its relatively quick is during the morning/early hours, once peak hours it its game over

I downloaded some mod that adds a DING when Ashran queue pops and just did other shit with an anti-idle script running. I also did a weeks worth of trapping while waiting.

I still need to go back because it's the easiest way to get an exalted rep by miles. Getting helm + revered chest (~4700 cq) took me from zero to halfway through rev. Kill and loot the rares as the zerg moves from event to event and turn in all your tokens to the summoner dude. I was getting between 1-2k rep per cycle just from that, plus the 500 rep for each event.

I then went and did something like 32.7k dps to Mythic Kargath, no stands. Thanks, PVP loot.

PS: Warning: BORING AS FUCK.

Mythic Kargath is fun as hell, a nice change on how boring his fight normally is.. our arms warrior does 49k dps on that fight too (with only 50-60% of the power meter built), it's retarded how good arms warriors are atm
made me level mine up, currently 97!~

They're ridiculous good at cleave fights, his dps on all heroic encounters this weekend:

Kargath - don't have logs for this anymore
Butcher - don't have logs for this anymore
Brackenspore - don't have logs for this anymore
Tectus - 42k
Twins - 40k
Koragh - 30k
Impregantor - 41k

Mythic Kargath - 49k

In execute phases he shoots up to 120k dps wtf

Kargath you build up a DPS buff but we totally ignore maximizing it so I don't even know how much it actually wound up stacking or being a factor. Hell I forgot about it until just now.

Anyway, after two slots of MS pvp gear simcraft puts me at 29kish, which is still a big jump over the haste crap I was wearing.

I'm not sure, i'll need to get his personal logs to see the first 3 fights when he's online
I'm guessing he stays arms though, and he was only 664 ilvl, JUST upgraded his wep to 670 so i'm sure he'll do even dumber dps this week lol

pvp gear seems super good for hunters until they can get 'real' multistrike gear in BRF, our hunter has mostly pvp gear and he does around 29k as well

If I'm planning on maximizing my gains in Ashran how many hours should I set aside?
depends how far behind the cap you are, if you need to do the full 7700 or 8700 conquest it'll probably take you like 6+ hours. If you only need the 1700-ish it'll take about an hour and a half or so?
they nerfed the event respawn timer to every 30-40 minutes instead of 20-30, so it's a bit slower now with a little downtime inbetween after all 4 events are done

To avoid having to queue again? Uhh.. call in sick for work or make no weekend plans if you are looking to cap. The rate events spawn has been nerfed and there's a lot of downtime. 8-10 hours including queue time from my experience.

Do try to get in on one boss kill for the 350 (?) cq.

I did the full conquest cap on my druid after i hit 100, and getting 7700 throughout the day took probably 8 hours. Make sure you have something else to watch, or do while you're doing that shit or it gets incredibly boring.
I'm going to do it for my warrior once he hits 100, but i'll just split it up over 2 days instead, fuck that lol

The nice thing is, new characters are pretty much gauranteed to have a 660 weapon(s) and at least 1 piece of 660 armor, possibly 2 if you get an accessory as well. Then give them 3 crafted items and they'll be 630ish in no time.

I'm just looking to replace some LFR gear that won't goddamn drop in N/H (Shoulders, Wrists, Legs, Helm). I can live with my 655 weapon for now at least

The thing about the crowd is that there's no real need to pay attention to it. Just by not fucking up and killing everything in the stands, you'll get to the 75% damage buff. That means no mistakes at all with Berserker Rush or the tigers though, and even on the successful kills that's a rarity. If we want the full 100% buff for popping CDs, second potion, etc. we'd probably need to have Mathblaster bait a rush and use Evasion on it.

Last night, with a bunch of deaths, we had:

25% - 38.1% uptime
50% - 24.6% uptime
75% - 4.2% uptime

The first kill was about the same.
