OK, I just need to post this somewhere. But I had my "maybe not ancient" moment today. Full disclosure, I turn 50 in a few weeks. Ever since I had a minor cardiac scare a few years back (and was diagnosed with a low resting heart rate, and a mildly underperforming 4th chamber) I've been on twice a year cardiologist visits.
GOt an Echo-cardiagram today. My heart is actually now outperforming the expectation for my age by about 10%. I still weigh about the same, have around the same activity level, haven't changed significantly in anything. Cardio Dr can't actually explain it, but looked over everything and suggested I not worry about 6 months, just come back in a year and call him if anything interesting happens.
Small victories
.. feels good man.
Weird. similar to my testosterone levels that I mentioned in another thread. After something like a decade of them being low, they're suddenly back in the normal range. I haven't done a treatment for it in at least 5 years, and the treatments were't making a difference.
