I was quite depressed as I made the climb because the clouds rolled in so heavy, but as wife and I got to the top we were lucky enough to get above the clouds, it was an odd feeling couldn't even see the mountain we were on completely surrounded by clouds

Can someone explain me why are the NIKON lenses and bodys are so much cheaper as CANON? :I 24-70 as example...

Got me, I have Nikon and I paid $2400 for 70-200, $1800 24-70 and $1900 for 14-24 all f/2.8 lenses.

So I guess, I will go with a Canon 6D and probaly Sigma 18-35mm F1,8 or Sigma 35 mm f/1,4. But at first I have to test the Sony A7. Any opinions?

It sucks but all those lenses are so good! I just have the D800 upgrade from the D7000 left. I want to say then I'm done but it's a slippery road.

Scouting out an area to photograph the Geminid meteor shower tonight. This spot on Mt Lemmon looks pretty good. Just need to get warmer clothes so I don't freeze my ass off again.

Not much story. I went heli skiing over the holidays, had my bud snap a picture while it was taking off with another group. The two of us always wear our Oilers jerseys when we go mechanized skiing, I'm not really sure why. I had actually forgotten mine, but my bud had a spare!
