Considering the A7 costs 999$ new , 750 doesn't seem to be an amazing deal, unless it comes with a lens. What do you think? 50K actuation? $750 excellent shape camera otherwise? Im just a hobbyist and cant afford to plop down thousands for new gear.
I'll be stuck in southern AZ for a convention that day, so only 65% cover for me. I've seen on some forums that you should remove your filter once it is eclipsed and the corona is showing ( if you are where it is total)...what have you heard?More practice today before my trip from Austin to South Carolina for the eclipse

Thousand Oaks has great solar filters for cameras...it's where I got mine.Nice what filter are you using? I hope to catch part of the eclipse but it's looking like a mixed bag of rain and overcast where we will be staying on that Monday. I thought about picking one up but price wise and for how often I would probably use it i couldn't justify it.

Nice, been liking my 6D so far.
Not much wild life in the area this weekend so far except for this frog explosion, you can take a step and 4-5 of them will jump in various directions away from you.
Best I could do with what I had. Kind of kicking myself that I didn't prepare and have the proper equipment to take some good shots. Oh well, I'll get a better shot in 2027? when it comes right over Dallas. Hope some of you with actual equipment got some good shots!
