I'm confused...are these compliments? A friend of mine told me I should sell this pic it looks so good. I don't think so but I did take it as a compliment.I know, right?
Where were you 30 million years ago when the light for that image was transmitted so that it could be seen here and what has happened to that galaxy since that time?
It’s a compliment. I love seeing those photos.I'm confused...are these compliments? A friend of mine told me I should sell this pic it looks so good. I don't think so but I did take it as a compliment.
I have a very different take on that but you do you man. It’s a compliment. I love seeing those photos.
Many, many years ago, when I was playing in an orchestra in AZ, and after a rehearsal of some of the prettiest music ever written, a friend of mine, the Concertmaster, who was also an amateur astronomer, took me out into the desert one night and he pointed a very large reflector telescope he had built, at various objects in the sky one after another. It was the most impressive demonstration I had ever seen. He knew where all these galaxies and stars and objects were and swung that telescope around for hours telling me all about the various things I was seeing; what they were, where they were, how they might have formed and when and all the while I was still hearing Mozart and Beethoven. If you didn't believe in God after that show, you just weren't paying attention.
